Lovely and peaceful, very helpful staff. Room a bit tired. Expedia didn't tell the hotel we had expressly wished for separate beds, so they had to come and do that during our stay.

Great hotel set in quiet, open expanse of countryside backing onto golf course with ample free parking. Room was large, modern, comfortable and well appointed with beverage kit, kettle, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful, and leisure facilities - gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi - were outstanding. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and returning next week.

Staff were really friendly and helpful and I enjoyed full use of the pool and spa. Room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom was just showing signs of wear - crack in the sink.

The hotel was lovely, and the swimming pools amazing! The staff were lovely and friendly and really helpful. However, the rooms do not have air conditioning and become very hot when you can only open a small window. They did supply a fan, but it was still very hot. Breakfast really wasn't very good. The two nights we were their the breakfast was stone cold one day and luke warm the next, and the scrambled egg was like rubber! Other than the food the room was lovely and as the say the swimming pools were brilliant, they just need to improve the food, and maybe put a fridge in the rooms. Would have been helpful to keep some milk in their for my young son.

Good price and nice breakfast with cooked to order options. Lovely to have a hotel with a full gym and swimming pool. Location is a little odd as it's on an old airfield I believe which is now an industrial estate. Part of the grounds is a golf club but there are limited areas which are available there to walk or run meaning I ended up having to use a treadmill for my morning run instead of running outside. Seems a shame to not make the golf course more multi use and either push people into running like a hamster or onto roads shared with trucks. The swimming pool is a lovely addition but very strange. In the women's changing, you lock your locker with your room card. Great! But then where do you put it? I ended up doing a couple of lengths with it in my hand but it felt a bit strange. I would have used the facilities more if it was all a bit more thought through. That said, nice place, just needs a bit more joined up thinking to make it a great place.

Ground floor deluxe double room next to the car park. Delivery vans and cars made it a very noisy room from an early hour. Spa and gym were nicely maintained and fully kitted out.

No signs for the exit in the ladies pool changing room, and nowhere to leave your room key, which activates your locker, if you can work out how to do it. Nice pool and jacuzzi though, rooms could do with a deep clean, but daily basics are done and it's comfortable. Staff are very helpful and happy to help with queries, rooms spacious and mine had a lovely view, plenty of (free) parking.
