North of the city was Constable country… nice walks and interesting info on the artists. South we enjoyed Tiptree museum, and the Salt marshes for walking and photography. "A lovely, comfortable, well equipped, cottage. A perfect location, with plenty to do. Lots of useful info and recommendations from Jo, the owner. Lovely walks with the dog...a co-op just seconds away in case you forgot something. We had a gorgeous Sunday roast at the Yachtsmans Arms...Maggie, my hungry springer, was welcomed too and even got her own lunch! I totally recommend a trip here..."
