Country Houses in Colchagua

This is a lovely family run establishment in a small traditional building, the interior is delightfully decorated with antique curios. The grounds include a nice pool overlooked by a sun deck which affords views of the surrounding countryside. It also has secure parking. Our room was large and tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Ticks all the boxes for an over night business trip. I’ve stayed here a few times as it’s a good standard and good price compared to other similar hotel in the San Fernando area. Will stay again when in the area.

Clean and secure. Close enough to the main plaza but also quiet. Fabulous pool!

A comfortable, family run friendly place to stay. It's a bit quirky, and full of interesting memorabilia, but just perfect for us, with a swimming pool and a couple of excellent restaurants within 1 min walking for dinner. Spot on.

If you want something different but quaint this is the place to go. You actually sleep inside an oversized wine barrel!

We had a wonderful stay at Viña La Playa Hotel. The property is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by vineyards, making it a perfect place to relax. Our room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. The staff were outstanding. Gonzalo welcomed us warmly when we arrived and later offered us a glass of wine while sharing stories about the wines, the hotel and the area, which made the experience feel very personal. Most importantly- the hotel breakfast! Which was amazing. And after a long day of walking the beach to get into down (because you’re about 7km from downtown, more on the beautiful beach side) the hot tub was also amazing to sink into and ease my legs. I had one concern when a maid did not lock my room door after cleaning it, which I reported to Reception. As a solo female guest, I found this a safety concern.
