"This property was perfect for our family. The layout of the home allowed the adults to hangout in the open kitchen/living room and the upstairs large bedroom with a TV created a space for our teenagers to hookup their gaming system. The home backs on to a pond and has a canoe that was heavily used by our teens who love to fish. "We had a great time and we used all the amenities even before and after checkout which was appreciated. The only thing we weren’t aware of were the rooms were a drive down from the main hotel in older condos. The pictures looked much cleaner and remodeled than they were. We didn’t want to stay at the room much at all, so because of this I do not think we would be back. A beautiful indoor and outdoor pool, though and close to the beach!"

"We loved the adult pool, but it could use additional umbrellas and umbrellas that adjust. Also there was service, but it was quite slow due to lack of staffing. The beach is okay and steep with a drop off in some areas. It's also short and the free umbrellas are small and don't provide much shade. We appreciated the coolers with electrolyte water at the entrance to the beach, but we did not spend any time on it other than to walk due to the heat, and these biting flies. The rooms are upgraded and nice, but our building had humidifiers running 24-7 and they were outside our room, and loud. The air in the room was wonderful though. Our room was attached to a LOUD family with a kid that had the loudest voice I've ever heard. Perhaps, keep adults on separate floors from children if possible. We like children, but that was nuts. The building inside is updated, outside is falling apart. Broken screen door on our room. Cobwebs and faded wood. The people providing service were lovely, but it was obvious they were overworked. One girl on an entire floor of rooms is not enough for good cleaning. They restocked and straightened up, but they weren't cleaning our bathroom daily. We did enjoy the restaurant. Very good food. The lunch bar by the pool was okay and the drinks weren't very good. My drink tasted like pure alcohol and I wasted it. Perhaps an actual mixologist if you charge these kinds of prices. Not 5 star."

"The house was great and had everything you need. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The location is beautiful and the wild horses actually came into the yard. Everyone had a perfect vacation and Tracey is a pleasure to deal with."

"We had an amazing stay at The Inn for our first trip to the Outer Banks. The location was perfect with easy access to shops and restaurants, an easy walk or quick drive to the beach with easy parking. The onsite pool was a great way to keep the fun going after a day out and sunsets on the pier are breathtaking. Alexis took all of the guesswork out of where to eat and how to get around and she made sure our stay was enjoyable. Bruce was amazing with the kids, so pleasant, and brought great charm and character to our stay. For a family of 4 with 6 year old boys, we would absolutely recommend and we’d stay here again."
