About this property
Private cabin located 12 miles out of Cody on Heart Mountain
Our cabin is on Heart Mountain and has a great view of Pat O'Hara Mountain from the comfortable deck. We have a kitchenette which includes a toaster oven, small refrigerator, hot plate and coffee maker. The bathroom has a tub and shower. We can fit a couple very comfortably, we offer a queen bed and an option for an air mattress, which can fit in the bedroom or can be placed out on the deck for a beautiful night under the stars. I do have a twin folding bed that can be used also. Our property is 104 acres and boarders state land which is beautiful to hike on. The pictures depict a beautiful landscape. If you would like to go for a hike while visiting please contact us so we can give very clear directions on which areas are private land and state access land. The cabin is on a secluded part of our property. Our house is 1/4 mile away. Our arena is in front of the cabin so there are times we will be using it, whether that be riding our horses or just playing/working with them on the ground. We have groups come out to do work with the horses different times during the week and we frequent the area for maintenance, checking horse, etc. We are happy to answer any questions or give you ideas of activities in Cody or the surrounding areas. We would also like to give you the key in person, if needed we can arrange a drop off. We live 12 miles north of Cody Wyoming. Highway 120 is in view but there are no visible neighbors. Due to the area, the only cell service is AT&T. Yellowstone National Park is 65 miles away to the east entrance and northeast entrance. Red Lodge Montana is 50 miles away. The Chief Joseph Scenic Highway starts just 3 miles from our cabin. Lots of options to see some amazing country! In the summer Cody offers some fun times!! The Cody Night Rodeo, the Buffalo Bill Center Of The West is an amazing museum to visit, wild horses to go take tours through, river rafting, bike riding, horseback riding , I could go on and on!!

Very much as advertised. For my wife and I, it worked out perfect for our short stay. Honestly, we were not there that much as we toured the area, but it was a comfortable bed and cool at night. Very clean and tidy and would highly recommend for a couple who loves the frsh air and beautiful sunsets. Location was great because you are only 15 minutes to Cody and about the same to the Chief Joseph.
The rabbits will entertain you as you sit out in the morning with a cup of coffee. It was a great stay. Thank you Jody for your quick responses and detailed directions for a night arrival.

My husband and I came to Cody, Wyoming for our honeymoon. And this cabin was the perfect place to stay!! It’s was secluded, beautiful and most importantly service free! We got to spend a whole week enjoying our time together and making memories. Highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking to get away from the electronics and life for a few days!
The property was a little tough to find, but Jody gave excellent directions and you just have to follow those and not a gps. The property was more beautiful than anticipated. The sunset over the mountains was outstanding. A perfect place to stay before taking the northern route to Yellowstone(we took Chief Joseph Memorial Highway to Beartooth to the northern gate)
Simple but adequate. It was chilly while we were there but heat worked well. We wanted peaceful isolation and this was perfect. Drive to Cody wasn’t bad at all. Drive to Yellowstone was long . We had water issues and I would recommend talking with owner. She was very friendly. Highly recommend the drive from cabin to the north gate of Yellowstone. I can’t remember the highway but it does not go through Cody. Gorgeous! Grizzly ran in front of us.
This property was just what we wanted, Very quiet with great views. It was a great Location... close to Cody and Yellowstone. Very peaceful setting. It was good for us to unplug. Jody and Otto were great hosts. We will definitely return!
Beautiful surroundings, lovely view of Pat O’Hara mountain from the porch. Owners were great! Perfect little house, small but comfortable. If you’re looking for the ritz this is not your place. If you’re looking for quiet comfort this is the place😀😀

Peaceful scenic quiet location
Was small at first but got organized by second day and was enjoyable. Only complaints was slow draining shower and having to take trash to town every other day. Needs some kind of bear proof trash can on location. Would do again ! 😎

Perfect little hideaway in Wyoming!
This was our last day of a 2 week yellowstone vacation. The cabin is exactly what we were looking for, no phones, no t.v. no internet, no distractions from the gorgeous views and peace and quiet. The room was great as far as it has everything you need. It's the perfect place to unwind and star gaze or go for a hike. The only problem we had was seeing the address sign from the road but if your going to stay here, it is the only visible driveway for 3 miles in any direction which makes it a little easier. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

Quiet little cabin away from it all...
My husband and I rented this cabin for just a couple days to get away. At first it was a shock to walk in and find no TV and no wifi, but the quiet is what we needed. Sunsets were beautiful! It's not too far from Yellowstone. We would rent it again.
