Spend the night in this super cute duplex cabin, close to Cody yet located out in the country with magnificent views. Bright and cute with Scandinavian old style furniture's. Brand new pillow-top queen mattress. 50 miles from Yellowstone. Guest Access Kim's cabin is on the right side of a duplex cabin. You have YOUR OWN BATHROOM and bedroom. You will have full aces to a nice BIG patio but have to share with guest on the other side of the cabin. There is great hiking possibilities on our property, you are more than welcome to take advantage of that. We have horses grazing on the property at times. They would love it if you would like to say hello to them. We have a charcoal grill that you are welcome to use (you provide the charcoals). We have a bon fire spot by the water canal, please enjoy it. There is a mini fridge and a coffee maker in your cabin as well. We’re sad to inform you that our nice big Akita dog, Rooster, passed away on November 1st 2023\. It has been a very hard time for our family as he was the best family member we could have ever wished for. We know that he will be greatly missed by our guests as well. It will take some getting used to by us all, to not have him keeping an eye out for us all. On that note, we’re excited to announce that we welcomed a new little Akita pup to our family. He was born October 5th 2023\. His name is Napoleon “Dynamite” Bonaparte. He is the runt of the litter and just the sweetest little guy. We know we can’t replace Rooster, but if Napoleon is just a little bit of what he was, he will too be a great part of our family. We also have Ellie-girl. She’s such a little firecracker and filled with personality. She is funny and loving and a great addition to our family. Furthermore, we rescued and golden retriever mix, Rita the fall of 2022 and she’s a sweetheart. She and Ellie really likes to get themselves into some trouble. All friendly, loving dogs. So, if you’re a dog person, this is most definitely the place to be. The Neighborhood We have a unique location! It was a perfect location and space for our needs.The owners dogs, Roostee and the puppy (name unknown), were very friendly and greeted us as we walked out our door in the morning or when we returned in the evening. Johanna was very gracious and chatted with us for quite some time one morning as we sat outside drinking our coffee. A short drive into town, this location was away from the busy tourist area. Kim’s cabin was impeccably clean. My husband and I loved the entire experience of staying at Apple Jack Ranch. The wildlife, the horses, the dogs, and the people were all amazing. Bounty and Jo and their family are incredibly nice and very accommodating. The morning scones and coffee started our days off right. Wonderful cabins, wonderful location, wonderful people! ##### Lydia G. A lovely spot outside of Cody that demands relaxation. Johanna and Bounty were lovely people and great hosts and we enjoyed so much the morning coffees on their terrace.
