We rented for a month and made day trips around Cody - Meeteesee, Thermopolis, Powell, Heart Mountain Interpretive Center - as well as longer trips to Deadwood, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Bozeman. The house was great as a homebase for seeing the area. And a well-appointed kitchen, laundry, comfortable living room, and even some snacks when we arrived, were very appreciated! It's a short walk to town; a little farther to Buffalo Bill Museum.
