The refuge Inn did what it said on the tin - provided refuge from stress. The hotel facilities were excellent with the pool a particular bonus. Breakfast was good and delivered to the room every morning and the staff were very good.

Although pricier than other places it really was lovely and worked so well for our family of four in a one bedroom apartment (2 kids aged 7 and 10). The holiday cabin was clean and nicely decorated with all the amenities you need for a few days away. We loved the pool and beach areas, which were great places to meet other families, and the kids loved being able to fish and crab straight outside our cabin. The Comfort Inn was in an ideal position for visiting the island. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms perfectly adequate for our needs, and the breakfast just what we needed. My only gripe would be young children shouting and running down corridors knocking on doors on the ground floor near the pool just before midnight on the Saturday of our stay, but that says more about the parents than the hotel, which addressed this concern promptly when I reported it afterwards.

Lovely one bed apartment with full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. En-suite had a big walk-in shower. Free laundry available on each floor (not in-unit). Close to good restaurants and walkable to Colonial Williamsburg.

Ideal location on the beachfront. The beach is groomed early in the morning and is very well maintained. Breakfast is included and provides a good selection of hot and cold food. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean with a great view of the beach. The front desk staff were terrific and the manger was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a first floor apartment. It was much more spacious than we were expecting. It had everything we needed. Very clean and very comfortable. Parking was very convenient. Beautiful looking communal areas. We had the best two nights staying here!
