"The Boathouse at Croft Downie is a unique, perfectly private, and wonderfully appointed tiny home in a gorgeous location, literally a few steps from the water with awesome views, and only a short drive from Inverness. Graham was an amazing host who was extremely responsive before and during our stay, answering all our questions and providing helpful advice to ensure our stay was and exceptional experience. My personal favorite highlight was enjoying a relaxing bath in the outdoor bath beneath the boathouse while sipping a glass of wine and watching the sun set as I listened to the waves lap at the shore!!!"

"The property owners were delightful people who were very responsive to the few questions we had. Easy access to the property just north of the Kessock Bridge on the A9, so it's a short 10 minute drive to Inverness City Centre. Plenty of room for the 4 of us (wife, 2 sons & myself) with peaceful country surroundings. Thank you Donnie & Ellie for hosting my family."

"The pictures do not do this home justice. It is a very large home with a very large yard for the whole family to relax and enjoy. Massive kitchen perfect for cooking. Comfortable beds and hot showers. My family of 8 stayed very comfortable in this beautiful house. With 6 adult kids it is hard to please everyone and ensure they have space for themselves. This home gave them all everything they wanted. A quiet location tucked away from the city but close enough for a short drive. We vacation twice a year together and it’s usually a battle with one or two having complaints about something- not this vacation. Not a single complaint about the house. It was the best! We are actively working on dates to return soon and wouldn’t stay anywhere else but here. Pros- close to town but far enough away from traffic and noise. Super close to some castle ruins (same street), close to several non-touristy shops and restaurants. I will dream about my breakfast at Jammie Piece until I return. Large living room and dining area to fit a very large family, great yard for outdoor activities, amazing views, and 2 other living rooms areas with board games, movies and quiet reading. Each room has its own bathroom- major plus!!! Cons- We didn’t stay longer."
