  • Our gîte 'La Grange Haute' has a complete and quality equipment aimed at providing our guests with the best comfort. Bedrooms have S king size beds (180x200 cms). The fully private and covered terrace of 30 sqm is a very friendly place. The park and it's old trees provides an ideal place for resting, reading or relaxing. In the common area, you have a tennis table ,games, bicycles and of course a secured pool. If you want to spend a holiday with family or friends but not share the same accommodation, Le Domaine de la Forge has two other houses that you can discover on our web site or by looking homelidays ref 348683 and 399683

Beautiful property; accommodating hosts

We had a wonderful stay. The property was spotless and extremely comfortable. We particularly loved how quiet the area was but how quickly we were still able to get to local towns. The Wednesday market is Bergerac was a particular highlight.

Quiet and peaceful

Really lovely property, quiet and peaceful and so dark at night. The cottage was really well equipped and everything worked really well. The owners were super friendly - thanks so much for the jam (we ate a lot of lovely French bread and jam) and for the strawberries - I’ve never had such tasty ones.

Parfait !

Nous logions dans la Grange Haute, un gîte pour 5 personnes muni de tout le confort moderne, superbement aménagé et d'une propreté irréprochable. Rien ne manque, du linge de maison aux serviettes de piscine, de la machine à espresso au sèche-linge. En commun avec les deux autres gîtes du domaine, un magnifique jardin ombragé, un table de tennis de table, une quinzaine de vélos, un baby-foot et surtout une très belle piscine. Les propriétaires sont d'une grande gentillesse, attentionnés et disponibles pour tout conseil, présents mais discrets. Bref, un séjour parfait qu'on espère bien renouveler ...

Truly fabulous

We had a wonderful holiday here. The cottage isbeautifully decorated with high quality furnishings and equipment. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and we all loved the facilities-table tennis, table football, badminton, swings, pool, bikes etc. Plenty in the area too to make it a wonderful stay. Dominique and Herve were so welcoming and took such pride in their cottages. We would love to return one day.

Sejour calm avez plein d'attractions

Une propriete charmant et moderne. Le mobilier de gout, la cuisine super equipee. Rien ne manque. Nous avons apprecie la pscine, toujours bien amenagee et le grand jardin de la propriete. Dominique et Herve nous avons vraiement gates et Ilse nous fourni avec plein d'informations de cette magnifique region. Absolument rien a craindre en choissisant ce refuge.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful week at Domaine de la Forge. It started on the day of arrival - we were welcomed by homemade jam and cakes. There was wine in the fridge and juice for our girls. Everything in the gite is made at a high standard and the interior is very tasteful. The garden and the pool area is beautiful and well kept. Dominique and Herve are very friendly hosts. We loved the place and we loved Dordogne Family Bladt, Denmark

Tout simplement parfait !

Nous avons séjourné en septembre et revenons à peine ! Nous nous empressons de formuler notre entière satisfaction ! C'est un très bel appartement , en rez de jardin avec une jolie terrasse couverte situé dans un parc magnifique , où l'on peut disposer de vélos, jouer au Ping Pong et Baby foot ! Nous étions assez bien situés pour visiter la Dordogne et ses vignobles. La décoration et l'équipement sont de qualité avec ambiance moderne. Les chambres sont spacieuses et ont chacune leur wc et sdb ! La piscine au calme ,il faisait bon s'y reposer et prendre un soleil de septembre qui fût au rdv tout au long de notre séjour. Les propriétaires Dominique et Hervé ont de délicates attentions et petites gourmandises,et, sauront vous guider pour visiter leur belle région , vous donner de bonnes adresses où dîner divinement ;) nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille ! ;)) Adresse à vivement conseiller !

Une semaine trop courte

Nous avons passé une semaine beaucoup trop courte dans cette location et il y avait tellement de lieux à visiter... Ce gite est très confortable, fonctionnel, bien équipé et encore mieux que sur les photos. Les équipements extérieurs comme les vélos, le baby foot... sont vraiment des plus pour les enfants. Son seul défaut était que nous n'avions pas envie d'en sortir. Merci à D et H pour leur accueil.

Het ontvangst bij Dominiq...

Het ontvangst bij Dominique en Hervé geeft U meteen een goed gevoel, een kleine attentie bij de aankomst...een warm onthaal. De gites en het ganse domein wordt met veel passie onderhouden, alles lijkt als nieuw. Logeren in domaine de la forge is een echte aanrader. ! Veel succes nog met de verdere uitbating.

"Nous avons adoré notre séjour à La Forge. L'ameublement contemporain et la décoration d'un goût très sûr nous ont enchantés. L'équipement de la maison est parfait : tout est pensé dans ses moindres détails. Toutes les attentions des propriétaires ont rendu notre séjour très agréable. L'environnement est agréable et calme, et la maison est parfaite pour des vacances en amoureux ou en famille - les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié la mise à disposition du ping pong, du baby foot, des vélos... Cette maison est à recommander sans aucune hésitation ! / We have loved our stay in this newly refurbished old stoned house. The high standard, modern furnishing and decoration are excellent. The amenities are perfect, and the kind attentions of the owners made our stay even more enjoyable. The environment is nice and quiet. The house is perfect for a couple or a family holiday : our children have appreciated the tennis table, the bikes and the children games kindly put at their disposal. "We had a very pleasant s...

"We had a very pleasant stay of two weeks at the Domaine de la Forge. The place is beautiful, a centuries old forge converted into a calm and cosy place for relaxed holidays. Located in a small village in the countryside, however, it is easy to reach and close to all necessary shops and services, which are either available in the village itself or in the near-by city of Bergerac. We stayed in “La Grange Haute”, which had been renovated respecting spirit of the house and being at the same time modern, well organised and functional. While there were other people staying in the two other houses it offered us our own privacy. The big terrace was perfect for meals or just sitting in shadow and admiring the flowers in the courtyard. The house was very well kept, utmost clean and adequately equipped. We loved its interior design, colours and beautiful details. As we were two couples we appreciated the two bedrooms and their individual toilets and bathrooms. The very nice swimming pool adds further to the comfort and quality of the place. Our hosts were extremely friendly, helpful, and available for our questions and requests while respecting at the same time our privacy. They advised us where to go hiking and shared the jewels of their address book for good local products, specialities and restaurants. It was also through small gestures that they created a warm and friendly atmosphere. We will not forget the excellent jams and jellies of Mrs. H.!"

"Notre plus belle découverte en 20 ans de location! - Des hôtes chaleureux et professionnels, disponibles pour partager leur amour du Périgord - Une décoration épurée et soignée ou tous les moindres détails ont été pensés - Nos enfants de 11, 13 et 15 ans ont eux aussi adoré: vélo à disposition, baby foot, ping-pong, piscine, immense parc... - De belles balades en vélo à proximité pour découvrir la nature environnante et s''emmerveiller des chevreuils, lapins, châteaux... Seul bémol: le gîte est tellement bien que nous n''avions pas envie de sortir et que nous devions nous faire violence pour visiter ! Nous espérons y retourner bien vite!"

"Nous avons été accueillis de façon adorable par les propriétaires qui sont d''une gentillesse rare. Nous avons passé une très très agréable semaine au domaine de la forge dans "la grange haute". Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme, le très beau site. La piscine a été très appréciée car nous avons eu très chaud ! Notre petit garçon était ravi ! Que dire du gite si ce n''est qu''il était magnifique, pratique, aménagé et décoré de très belle façon. Nous recommandons vivement ce gite !"
