Nestled in the Appalachian foothills, this historic railway town offers peaceful hiking trails through Bilger's Rocks and Curwensville Lake. Visitors can explore the Clearfield County Historical Society museum before enjoying local brews at Dented Keg Brewing Company's riverside patio.
Can't fault this hotel. Room was clean, staff at check in and breakfast were very friendly. Breakfast fairly standard and was kept very well stocked. Coffee available in breakfast room all day. Easy to find from i80 and there's a Walmart very close by. Pool was a good size - it was a little cool although the pool room itself was very warm.

This hotel was better than I expected, yes it's a little dated but I have to say the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom / room was clean. Overall a great night's stay.

Just needed a place to spend a night while traveling. This was a perfect choice. Although the rooms are dated, it all looked freshly painted and very clean. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Parking right at the door to the room and a very quiet location. Well worth the 5 minute drive from the highway. It was a great stay, highly recommended if you want a clean comfortable stay while traveling in the area.

This was a really good hotel, especially the bathroom which was better than many 4* hotels.
Breakfast was very good.
Everything was really well thought through to ensure we had a good stay, we enjoyed it so much we booked another night.

We stayed overnight on a trip north. Perfect location next to I-80. Lousy pavement with big dips near entrance between H-I and Sheets next door. No fault of H-I. Even though there was a wedding that day (and evening) our room was dead quiet and we slept well. Best breakfast we've had at a hotel in a long time.
We'll be back. Vic

Staying in a, to all intents & purposes, deserted property was a little odd but it all worked well enough & it was a charming place to stay.
Wish I could find more places like this on my travels around/across the US.
Only slight criticism is absence of low-level lighting on the landing during the night - it was just too bright to find your way to the bathroom when only half awake.

The hotel was great. Feels new and was relatively comfortable. Service was top notch. The restaurant recommendations given to us were great (although not sure how many other options there were in the town!)
