Inside, this Cotswold holiday cottage has been thoughtfully furnished to offer a warm and comfortable stay, combining the traditional exposed stone walls with contemporary touches throughout. This welcoming cottage is perfect for couples or groups of friends looking for a cosy Cotswold home away from home. With its fantastic location on the outskirts of Cirencester, Churn View is ideally placed for exploring the bustling town as well as the quaint, countryside villages. Accommodation This two bedroom holiday cottage in Stratton, near Cirencester, is perfectly suited for romantic breaks or catch ups with friends exploring the delights of the Cotswolds. The cottage is in great condition, it’s cozy and warm and the kitchen is well-equipped. It is a 15-20 minute walk to and from Cirencester but there is also a bus, and there are also a couple of pubs just round the corner from Churn View. The house looks just like the photos. It is very nicely furnished and cosy. Cirencester can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. There is a small supermarket practically next door. We had all the conveniences we needed in the cottage and a local quick market SPAR two doors down. The cottage is most comfortable in all rooms, including the large patio in the back with a clothesline. Bus stop 51 is closeby; across the street. Takes you into Cirencester. We would have benefited from more than one dish towel and one set of bath towels for our extended stay as well as to have a fan in each bedroom due to the unseasonably warm temperatures well after 9 pm. The booklet is very comprehensive yet one more item to add might be where to get laundry done closeby. Churnview is charming; built in 1837 yet up to date and modern inside.
