"First time visiting this region, and the bush setting of this lodge is well designed and laid out. We booked the self-contained cabin with a private bathroom. I think it's the most suitable cabin for two people. Even though there is a pull-out bed which can accommodate two extra people. The room is not too big and is best suited for two people. I have previously emailed the lodge a couple of times before check-in but never once received a reply from the management After check- in, we had some issues with the touch pad to change the lighting and window settings. We went to the front desk and requested a maintenance person to come and inspect. We waited for more than 30 minutes, and no one showed up. At that point, I went to the front desk again to follow up but was told the staff had already been to our cabin, which was not true. Customer service in small rural locations in Indonesia is generally not great, and staff tends to work at a very slow pace."

And was so happy that there’s a barista for coffee. Staff at Momo Cafe was very helpful..shout out to Den Rohman who introduced us to “bandrek” …he even prepared us a sugarless version. Den Rohman also informed us where we could buy Tapai and would get it for us if we couldn’t find it… Momo Cafe : Ms Lutfiana -Lovely young staff who was so helpful with our queries and very informative about the food available at the cafe. And AFIFAH….helped us with ride hailing services, shopping areas, restaurants, where we could get reflexology, etc…. A totally amazing kindhearted super dedicated person. A good stay at the hotel with staff who made it better!!"
