"Wow!! Where do we start?! To say the Tiny House was superb would be an understatement! It is located in an immensely beautiful park on its own sheltered bay off the Pacific. It is incredible. Take a walk down to the dock where we found a family of otters, crabs and the most purple of starfish and many of them. The house is perfection for a couple, be that young or old; with all the amenities of your own home. Trinita, is the best host you will ever find…sweet, caring, attentive with a plethora of knowledge of the area and history of the area. She’s put games, art and historical books in the house for rainy days, with spare fuzzy blankets for curling up in a chair on the deck if the night gets cool. If you want to visit, the lower end of Vancouver Island make this your home base. Frankly you’d be a fool not to give this gem a chance. You will not regret it."

"An amazing and unique property in an incredible location! So pleased we chose to stay here, the pond was incredible for us and our children, we had a lot of fun! Lovely touches like muffins and cookies on arrival too. Would highly recommend and would love to stay here again if we are back on Vancouver Island!"
Architect Designed And Decorated Waterfront House, You Have The Whole House!

"The house is dated but spotless. The view is spectacular. Improvements are happening in the large covered seating area next door, but the outdoor kitchen is not yet functional. It will be amazing when it’s done. The driveway in takes you past some unappealing clutter and the house is surrounded by a chain link fence with a gate that you must open and close manually each time you go in or out. The yard was clearly a showpiece at one time. It does need some attention. The house is very well equipped and the bed was comfortable however, you will hear the road traffic, especially during week days. The host lives on the property (perhaps in a trailer) and is very pleasant and quick to respond to queries. We found the tv/electronics complicated - we could not get the tv to work. The wifi is excellent."

"We were given a very warm welcome by Dave and Amanda when we arrived. The guest house was a lovely spacious place to stay. Set in a quiet oasis from the hustle and bustle of larger towns and a short drive away from Metchison Village. Victoria is a short half hour drive from the guest house. It was a lovely way to relax for the last few days of our wonderful self drive tour of Vancouver, The Rockies and Vancouver Island."

"We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful property, spacious suite, and accommodating for our dog. Would definitely stay again. Our two teen girls shared the sofa bed and said it was the most comfortable sofa bed they’ve had. Hosts are very responsive and welcoming."

It's clear he takes great pride in creating a relaxingand memorable experience for his guests.The accommodations were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Waking up each morning to the breathtaking ocean views was unforgettable, and the peaceful forest setting made it feel like a private sanctuary.One of the highlights was the incredible wildlife all around us. We were delighted to see deer wandering through the property, quail scurrying by, and adorable bunnies hopping about. It added such a special touch to an already magical setting.The serenity of Seaside Cove is something you truly have to experience. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee while taking in the view, listening to the sounds of nature, or simply unwinding after a day of exploring Sooke, every moment felt peaceful and restorative.Thank you, Scott, for your outstanding hospitality and for sharing such a beautiful place with your guests. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already lookingforward to our next visit.
