"There was no staff. Room was not very clean. Everything old and outdated. Extremely small TV hard to navigate channels. Not comfortable mattresses or pillows. Not one person on site of this huge condominium building, so no one to direct you to your room or concessions or restaurants or be any of assistance with any question that you may have on site. "The biggest disappointment was that we booked this room specifically to celebrate my daughter’s birthday at the water park with family. We found out once we arrived that Chula Vista would only allow those who booked directly with them to gain access to the water park- we were forced to consider booking a separate room through the resort directly ONLY to get water park passes. Now this policy was new- and it is now on the Chula Vista website, but this was not on the website when we booked the room. This seems like an issue with the resort more than the VRBO, but it ruined the experience nonetheless. When speaking to the Chula Vista management, they defended their decision with “all Chula Vista condo owners knew of this policy change well in advance”. If that’s true, we would have liked to know so we could have book elsewhere. Other disappointments- they only provided one total toilet paper roll between all three bathrooms (1/3-1/4 roll was in all 3 bathrooms without any replacement rolls). Also found a garbage water bottle in the bed room from a previous guest.For how much we paid for additional/cleaning fees, we expected more. We ended up enjoying the fun spacious room with family, being dog friendly is so nice, unfortunately what was meant to be a special, relaxing weekend ended up being stressful and not what we were expecting. "
