"The house was perfect for my family of six. We did a Dells trip with half of our time at a waterpark and half at this property which was a perfect location for enjoying what the town had to offer with many things in walking distance."

"Fantastic all around and worked well for a group of 8 - 4 adults and 4 teens. We knew bring an extra air mattress for 1 teen with us because we knew (per the listing) there were 5 beds total and the teens are too big to share. I was initially worried about the 2 bathrooms, but was pleasantly surprised to see working sinks in some of the rooms, so that made morning getting much easier! The living space on the first floor is large and spacious, and the kids were delighted to see TVs in every room. We loved spending the evening on the front wrap-around porch, reading books or chatting. Kids loved the game room (obviously).The location itself is amazing and convenient - we walked everywhere but the water park - the grocery store was just steps away, and we were right behind the main "strip" so the kids loved being able to explore on foot! We were right by go cards, escape rooms, restaurants, etc. Connie was extremely easy to work with and was fast and clear with communication. She even dropped off some delicious bread for us.The only (minor) watchout is that we forgot to bring towels for the water park! A quick trip to WalMart resolved that, but be advised that you'll need to pack those - not a biggie.We loved it and would stay here again."

"When we first arrived, I was not very happy with parts of the house. There were multiple dead bugs in the basement, so most of my kids did not want to stay in the bedrooms down there. Unfortunately, that put a lot of us staying in the few rooms upstairs. There were also many live ants in the "theater" room downstairs, so the kids didn't want to watch movies down there or play the Xbox that was provided either. We noticed that most of the bugs were located near the door next to the bathroom (it was locked, but I'm assuming it was a storage room because the flooring looked unfinished from what I could see under the door). We tucked a towel under that door, hoping to stop most of the bugs, but I don't know if that helped. I realize this house is situated in a "woods" setting (which is very beautiful and peaceful), so I understand that some bugs/animals are to be expected. However, I was hoping that it would have been freshly cleaned when we arrived. Other than the bug situation, we were very happy with the rest of the house. Had we been able to use all of the rooms, the house would have had plenty of space! Having a washer and dryer at the house saved us from having to drag home wet swimsuits from the waterparks. The location of the house is wonderful! Everything we wanted to do in the Dells was less than 15 minutes away. Overall, we really liked the house, and the convenient location that was also away from all of the loud, touristy areas."

Spacious Downtown Home • Pool • Walk to River & Attractions

"The location is excellent, walking distance to absolutely everything, and not difficult for our friend with a scooter and mobility issues to do everything we did. The place is clean enough where it really counts, though not great. There were straight pins in a carpet, beard trimmings under a mirror, and the rugs and floor are just plain dirty. Some rooms smell like mold. It is an old building that is more college town than B&B, but we were families doing the tourist thing, not trying to impress in-laws at a wedding. Every room had an attached bathroom(plus three more not in bedrooms - 9 toilets total!), which is really important when traveling with multiple families and couples. The building is very quiet, air conditioned to an extreme (especially the basement), the pool is a good size and clean enough, with some shade from the trees. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen and dining room fit all of us. The stove is great, fridge on the small side but adequate, all the spices and S&P were provided, as well as coffee maker and some random tea and coffee stuff. There was no toaster or normal glasses (only wine gasses (no corkscrew) and ridiculously tiny mugs). We ended up buying a toaster and glasses at Walmart. There were zero bowls and four random spoons, so the kids took turns eating cereal from the glasses we bought. I never actually met the staff, as my husband did the initial check-in and I did everything online on my phone. The office was closed when we checked out."
