Warm, inviting, comfortable and well situated
I stayed with my daughter and her family on a 2 week holiday, for the last few days my mother and I stayed at the adjacent property. The entire process from booking, to checking in, paying and leaving was simple. Everything we needed was there, it was warm and comfortable and also close to shops and walking distance to the CBD. One thing to watch out for - cars parked on the street can be a bit tricky to navigate dependant on the size of your car when reversing out of the driveway. Definitely on my list for our next holiday.

Immaculate and Welcoming Accommodation
This property was a delightful surprise and surpassed our expectations. The homes presentation was neat and tidy.Everything that you ever wanted was supplied.Comfortable bed, comfortable couches and very spacious. The entire accommodation was extremely clean with everything provided. Fully equipped modern kitchen with an abundance of crockery, plates and utensils. It was and absolute delight to stay here. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our weekend at this property. It's a lovely home that has been thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed. The bedrooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. It's a short walk to a New World supermarket so self-catering is easy especially with the well-equipped kitchen. Would definitely book again.

We three adults stayed for five nights, and were very comfortable. Our car could be parked off the road, although there is a garage that guests can use. There is a short path and a few steps to the front door. The living area was spacious, with French doors to a sunny, north-facing deck. In the kitchen, many appreciated extras were supplied that make the stay so easy for travellers. The bathroom also had extras. The two bedrooms were spacious, and each had French doors to a deck. Christchurch CBD was a ten minute drive. The house was spotlessly clean, and communication with the host was prompt and friendly. We would recommend Maison du Soleil to other travellers.

Wonderful Stay in Christchurch!
Lovely home with lots of room!! Best mattress for sleeping our whole trip! 😁 We were able to do laundry (there is a washer and dryer) The kitchen is small but very efficiently laid out and stocked. Grounds are lovely!! Danielle was easy to contact and responded quickly to questions. Great location! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Danielle was an excellent host - responding quickly & answering all our querries. The house's decor is in a harmonic, rustic, classic French style. Very cosy yet functional. The 2 bedrooms are comfortably large with good bedding. The bathroom/laundry offers plenty of shower items & cremes. Note: the drier is in the garage. Last not least the kitchrn had many useful items for meal prep. All together it made for a very enjoyable stay.

Very homely feeling property with everything you could need. Warm and secure. Host contact was prompt and instructions to access the property easy to follow. New World supermarket close by. Easy access to drive to the city and walking access to the red zone/Avon river area. I would recommend this property!

Lovely little cottage
