This is a great base for exploring the sites of Christchurch. You have the choice to dine out at local restaurants or cook at home in the fully equipped kitchen. This comfy central city home is complete with a Queen bed and bathroom upstairs. Enjoy a peaceful stroll along the Avon River nearby, or take a short walk to the famous Margaret Mahy playground. The ground floor has the kitchen, living, and dining area. This flows out to the private, fully fenced courtyard. In the kitchen is a combination washer/dryer machine for guest use. Upstairs (1st floor) has the bedroom with spacious Queen bed, plus a full sized bathroom with bidet toilet, vanity and shower. Canterbury Linen Services who supply local 5-Star Hotels provide our sheets and towels. You can sink into the luxury of a professionally laundered bed knowing it's a 5-Star Hotel clean. This property comes with street only parking. There is free, untimed parking outside on Madras Street. A local convenience store is located a 5 minute walk from the development for any late night needs. Please note we can facilitate early check-ins/late check outs. there is an extra cost of $10 per hour with maximum of 2 hours. Extra cost is to cover express cleaning. The Carebnb team can be contacted via the airbnb app should you need anything, or if you have any questions about your stay. This fantastic townhouse offers the perfect location, within walking distance to New Regent Street, Margaret Mahy Family Playground, and numerous other amenities. The advantages of being close to the central city, just 1.5 km away (approximately a 15-minute walk), provide easy access to an array of cafes, restaurants, galleries, shops, bars, and cultural activities. Whether you're seeking entertainment, dining experiences, or shopping delights, this townhouse's proximity to the vibrant city centre ensures you'll have a memorable and enjoyable stay. The Christchurch bus exchange is conveniently located just a 15-minute walk away, providing easy access to all parts of Christchurch through various bus routes. For a smooth experience using the bus system during your visit, we recommend downloading the Moov it app ahead of time. While staying at the development, you'll find free on-street parking available. However, please be aware that it may get filled up during school hours but generally clears out in the evenings. Don't worry, as the surrounding streets also offer free parking options, so finding a spot nearby should be feasible. You can find more detailed information about parking in the Welcome pack provided inside the property. Should you require transportation beyond the bus system or have late-night travels, Uber or taxi services are readily accessible 24/7, ensuring a convenient pick-up whenever needed. Easy electronic door code for convenient and hassle-free check-ins. City noise - Please note this is an inner city townhouse. Its near the road and some intersections and has usual city noises such as pedestrians walking past, cars driving, and the occasional siren. The townhouse is much quieter with the windows closed. If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs are recommended, or perhaps choose a property not so close to the city. We have strict rules in place to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests and neighbours. Please refrain from making loud noise outside between the hours of 10pm and 7am. If you are unable to comply with this rule, we kindly ask that you do not book with us. Additionally parties or gatherings are not allowed, any unauthorised gatherings will result in immediate cancellation with no refund. Check out time is 10am and late checkouts must be requested 24hours in advance. Smoking in prohibited inside the property and any damages or extra cleaning caused by smoking or pets will result in a $200 fee. We expect the house to be left in a reasonable condition and any additional cleaning required will be charged at $60 per hour.
