9.2/10 Wonderful! (205 reviews)
This is a great hotel. Our river view room was spectacular. The staff were friendly. The overall surroundings are brilliant, well maintained, and we saw elephants having lunch in the neighbouring national park from a few feet away (through an electric fence!). It's well located to get into Livingstone and you really can't beat staying right on the banks of the Zambezi. The pool is nice, if slightly smaller than expected, and not heated. The service was sometimes slow. Food was good, not exceptional. But overall, a very positive experience and I'd stay here again if we return to Livingstone.

The location is amazing, relaxing and beautiful. The staff is great. The taxis services are good, but the most expensive I encounter during my trip to Africa.

7/10 Good! (17 reviews)
Absolutely amazing, hidden gem in Livingstone! This is a second time I booked with Royal Sichango and I love it even more. This is quiet lodge close to everything in Livingstone, on doorsteps to the waterfalls. Staff is amazing, helpful and accommodating. Cabins are clean, convenient and well maintained. Come and enjoy the local flavor of Zambia!

"I just gave my last three hotels glorious reviews, but this place is very overrated. The place looks very worn, the plumbing only partially works, frequent, TV doesn’t work, electrical problems, poor maintenance on basic things like windows and doors. It’s got a fresh coat of paint, but that’s about ..."
