Very old and dated room. The mattresses need to be updated as I slept with springs in my back all night. The windows opened fully on the first floor. This would be a hazard if you were travelling with small children. The bathroom lacked anywhere to hang your towels and really could have done with a clean. Good location and the bar downstairs was lovely with pool tables and darts.

The building itself is very historic and was an interesting and unique place to sleep. However we could tell that the room had not been deep cleaned in some time, as the air was dusty. After opening the windows and airing out the room a bit it was manageable. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay in Chipping Norton and this property was a short walk from all of its amenities.
