With its generous and extraordinarily pleasant hosts, this property would be one of the best in the area only if the rooms were stripped of their poor-man’s transition to modernity, restored to their past glory, and equipped with an electric kettle!!

Good location right in the heart of Chinon. Parking close by and within easy walking distance of shops bars and restaurants. Close to the river and easy to find. The rooms are dated and in need of some tlc. Be careful with the showers as when our shower door was opened you couldn't get to the cold tap so burnt myself trying to get the right temperature.

Not a good hotel overall

Nice front desk person. Room very clean but extra small. Not even the room to Open one bag on the floor. No internet working in the bedroom. Impossible to get water at the right temperature in the shower, mixer does not work, you have to choose burning or cold! Also no insulation, we heard the neighbor toilet and dog barking on same floor. I do not believe this deserves 3 stars. On the positive side, great location

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil, la possibilité de choisir deux appartements, la gentillesse et les conseils de l'hôtesse d'accueil sur les lieux à visiter à Chinon. Le petit-déjeuner est bien fourni et de bonne qualité.

Je recommande

Agréable nuit, silencieuse et confortable. L'hôtel nous a surclassé eu égard à la présence d'enfants avec poussette car y avait pas d'ascenseur à l'étage initial. Douche tiède, je pense que c'était l'heure de la douche pour toutes les chambres. Très grand appartement confortable et propre. Le personnel est au top, sympathique et le restaurant de l'hôtel est parfait, vraiment bon. Le petit-déjeuner varié et aux produits frais est parfait qualité-prix. Bref ne pas hésiter qualité-prix ya pas mieux.

Praktische, schlichte Unterkunft für eine Durchreise oder für Fahrradtouristen. Zentral gelegen. Stadtrundgang in wirklich schönem Städtchen gut zu Fuß machbar. Das Restaurant hatte ein gutes Steak, was in Frankreich nicht selbstverständlich ist.

Très bonne étape commerciale à Chinon. On y mange bien et on y dort bien. Parking juste en face, c'est parfait pour une étape commerciale. Je recommande.

Bonne situation mais...

3 etoiles ..... pas vraiment. Pour des 70 ans 2 ème étage sans ascenseur mais avec valise .. Salle de bains : baignoire glissante avec pare - douches - appareil à gel douche sans gel douche - fuite d eau jusqu'à l entrée sur la moquette : joint douche disparu Et ménage oups. Prévoir réorganisation pour les petits-déjeuners : tout est regroupé dans un coin et donc file d attente ... Dommage accueil tres correct .

Bien pour une étape

Hôtel bien situé, grand parking juste en face (sauf jours de marché). Chambres réparties en deux petits bâtiments, pas d'ascenseur. Insonorisation entre chambres et couloirs à revoir ! Petit déjeuner mini-buffet. Par contre excellent restaurant.
