"Despite two numerous to count, WhatsApp contacts with the hotel and our attempt to contact Hotels.com we were left in the dark as to which room was ours. We were able to get into the front door, no problem, but the line on our self check-in said your room number is.__! that was not very helpful. We attempted to contact the hotel directly, we were told there would be staff at check-in, but there was no one anywhere to be found, and I was not able to communicate with Hotels.com. Ultimately, we took the room that best matched the photo on our confirmation. Fortunately, it was not the middle of the night as we were trying to check in. I hope the hotel and Hotels.com can resolve this self check-in issue so this never happens to anyone else."

"Our room was quaint and in the attic however, this proved an issue as due to the loss in Italy there is no heat nor air conditioning. The only ventilation came from opening windows, which were right above a bar on the street make me an incredibly noisy until the bar closed in wee hours of the night. I see the street only the sky from the windows because attic location when I inquired with the staff of how to dry our towels for reuse, they told us the law in Italy prohibited them from on the heat to turn on the dryer and if we wanted more towels, we would have to pay four euro each the comment when I asked hotels was “ madam you were only there one night and there are four towels” (2 hand 2 bath towels) yes but they were wet after one use and nowhere to hang to dry !!!"

Only drawback was the flights of stairs with luggage and make sure you have your camera flashlight handy to walk the stairs at night. Nice location in the heart of the old city and the cathedral."
