"We loved our stay at the Borgo La Casseta. It’s a family business, they have a small restaurant on the main floor. It takes approx half an hour drive up the hill to get there from Pistoia. A little bit tricky to find. Parking is free (gated property).
The room was clean, separate bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. A spectacular 180 degree city/valley view.

"The owners were really accommodating, we had early starts everyday and they made sure we had breakfast available before we left. "This was a little slice of heaven. Just what you see in the movies. Tuscany is dreamy. We had a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom small villa with a kitchen and family living space. There is a beautiful pool and beautiful rolling hills surrounding the property. During summer months it is helpful to take mosquito repellent if you plan on being outside a lot."

( No prior notice or anything publicized about this other than check in between 3 and 6 p.m.) Rooms did not have any cups or bath soap. Room was very modest and simple.
