"The location of Hotel Cavalletto is excellent! It is an older hotel, but the condition is good. The staff is so helpful! The breakfast was a nice hot breakfast. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel."

"We were given a room on the first floor. When we opened the door, we detected a musty kind of odor. Upon opening the bathroom door, the odor increased. It was coming from a drain in the floor. We covered the drain by taping down paper towels over it, closed the drains in the shower and wash basin and opened the window. Luckily, the smell diminished so that we did not have to change rooms. Upon some research on Google, found out that the canal itself added to the odor. We’re thinking the upper floors are not affected."

"After arriving in Venice , my husband had emergency health issues and wound up in a hospital. The staff was so concerned and helpful to me, navigating all the unexpected issues that arose during my stay. I cannot express how grateful to them for their assistance. We had a beautiful , spacious room overlooking the Grand Canal which included a bottle of sparkling wine. The location is terrific, close to the Rialto Bridge. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Venice."
