The Schauerhof, just 4 km from Lake Chiemsee, offers the ideal blend of nature, animals, and traditional farm life. Here, you can enjoy a unique holiday in our exclusive 3- and 5-star holiday apartments, which offer the perfect level of comfort for families.
Holiday for the Whole Family
At our child-friendly farm, our young guests not only have the opportunity to get to know animals such as calves, alpacas, and ponies, but also to actively help out with farm work. This way, children learn more about farm life and how to interact with animals in an exciting way.

The region around Lake Chiemsee captivates visitors with its breathtaking scenery and diverse recreational opportunities. Whether hiking, biking, or visiting the impressive Herrenchiemsee Palace—there’s something for everyone here.
The holiday rental is located in our guesthouse, which is built in the style of a farmhouse. Carefully selected handmade furniture and tranquil solid oak floors will enhance your holiday experience.
Farmhouse-style living
A large corner sofa for cosy get-togethers in the spacious living area, as well as blackout curtains, contribute to the cosy atmosphere. The children’s room features a bunk bed (90x200) and a single bed (90x200). A lovingly furnished bedroom with a double bed (180x200). The bathroom features a walk-in shower. The apartment has a separate toilet. The entire apartment is equipped with radiant floor heating.

The Walli holiday rental features a large terrace with seating, perfect for breakfast or relaxing. From here, you have a view of the courtyard.
Amenities of the Non-Smoking Apartment
Due to the allergy-friendly nature of our apartments, we unfortunately cannot allow pets. This holiday rental is equipped with a central vacuum system and is suitable for people with allergies.
The Schauer family introduces themselves!
We—the Schauer family—are Alexandra and Josef with our daughters Maria and Barbara. At our Schauerhof farm, we’ve been offering “farm stays” since 2025—now in our third generation.
In July 2025, the farm was handed over to our daughter Maria.
We’re excited to introduce you to our farm and our family!
