We like to hike, and unfortunately, this property is not conducive to that; the road is too busy to take your life in your hands, and the property itself has nothing. No one showed us the pools or gave us an orientation; we had stayed before, but things have been added such as the restaurant at the lake. We could see paddleboards at the pier, but had no idea if guests could use them or any other lake goodies. No tours are offered, and the "birding" there consists of offering you a pair of binoculars. The food was great and the people who work there all wonderful." The pool we never used because they told us the water was very cold, yet one evening there was a group of young people enjoying it without complaining. We all loved Paco, the welcoming happy parrot kept in the lobby."
