Well located hotel in North River.

Posted 17-Jan-2017
Pros: The price
Cons: Rooms need a renovation quickly!
Location: Amazing location in the middle of hundreds of shops and restaurants (North River).
Rooms are in dire need of renovation. Low toilet pressure (need to flush 3 times in a row), dripping faucets, old wallpaper peeling off the wall, cupboard handles ready to fall off. Very old furniture and lighting in the rooms. At least 5 tones of "white" used to patch and paint the ceiling. No easy-to-access plugs to charge a phone or computer. Air vents and bathroom fan are full of dust. Space under the bed and around nightstands has probably not been cleaned for months. The whole lobby smells like chemicals in the morning, because they had the genius idea to use alcohol cans (the ones you use for fondue) to heat coffee and tea in their lounge. Personnel is very nice and friendly. Check in / out process quick and easy. Hotel is okay for the price, but definitely not 4 star.

Hotel in central location of Magnificent Mile

Posted 17-Jan-2017
Location was perfect if you're looking to stay in the Magnificent Mile area, it is walking distance to the John Hancock bldg, Signature at the 95 restaurant and tons of shops. The hotel is old, a little run down, but looks like it is maintained. Stayed in a junior suite, and had difficulty adjusting the room temperature and woke up with the room at 85 degrees. The carpet needs to be replaced as well. overall, if you're looking for a hotel just to sleep in, Whitewall Hotel is ok.

Great location, clean but needs updates.

Posted 12-Jan-2017
The staff were great, the room was a suite, it was spacious and clean. The bed was firm but comfortable, the pull out sofa was also comfortable according to my son. The bathroom needed a little tlc, it wasn't dirty it just needed come updating in the shower and rub area. Over all it was a good stay and the price was great. You can walk the the John Hancock and water tower and many other locations. I would go back.
