Hotel was,about 12 minutes from Chiba station. Good area lots of shopping, restaurants and bars. Checking in was straight forward. Good size room with massage chair, comfortable bed and clean.

One could not do better for the price. Very convenient to everything. This hotel looks brand new sparkling clean. I came here for a couple days before leaving Japan at Narita. Close location to the airport to spend a day or two and see a very nice small Japanese City.

The hotel hallway was dingy, with a large unsightly stain on the carpet. The staff did not always provide towels (needed to ask them a couple of times) nor water that was supposed to be replenished daily. Although I requested a non-smoking room, the bathroom smelled like smoke and it was challenging to breath in there. Most hotels have a late-checkout allowance of about an hour or two. This hotel charges hourly for late checkout. The staff were mostly friendly and tried to be helpful. The location is convenient and central to Chiba City that is convenient for walking, public transit or taxi service. The status of washing machines provided at the hotel were viewable on the room TV so it was very convenient to plan our day around doing laundry.

New. Hotel just been renovated, opened in Oct 2024. Very good price. Comfortable room, delicious breakfast. Check in is quick and easy. Parking is great, charge ¥1600. Cannot wait to come back.

I had a fantastic time at the hotel. Everyone was super nice and helpful, as usual in Japan. The room was well-maintained and cleaned regularly. The connection to the train system was also excellent. Everything you could need was right next to the hotel: groceries, general shops, and bars. The breakfast was also plentiful, and if you didn't use it, you could redeem the breakfast voucher at the restaurant later in the day. I would choose this hotel again anytime.

I had a really good stay at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Chiba - Chuo. The biggest plus for me is definitely the location. The hotel is right outside Chiba-Chuo Station, so it was super convenient, especially when coming back after a long day. Basically just walk out of the station, and the hotel is right there. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. There are also plenty of restaurants, shops and convenience stores around the area, so it was easy to find food or grab anything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. Overall, it was a very convenient and comfortable place to stay in Chiba. If you're looking for a hotel with an easy location and don't want to walk far from the station with your luggage, this is definitely a good option. Would stay here again.
