It's a thin mattress on top of wood bed frame with no box spring and low to the ground. Never had an issue with a bed before but am getting older. Nestled in a fantastic location at the corner of the old city, the hotel is just steps away from a charming street full of character and activity, making it an ideal spot for exploring Chiang Mai. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s "boss" – a delightful Schnauzer named Muffin, who quickly became the heart and soul of the place. Muffin's friendly presence added an extra layer of warmth and charm that made the hotel feel like a home away from home. In terms of value, Tri Gong Hotel is unbeatable. The room rates are incredibly reasonable for the quality of the accommodations and the level of service provided. The staff were consistently helpful, going out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond for their guests. Early in my stay, I came across a stray beagle running around Chiang Mai with a leash and collar. Not knowing what to do, I brought the dog back to the hotel. The staff immediately stepped in to help. They posted about the dog on a Thai-language Facebook group and worked tirelessly to ensure the dog was reunited with its owner.
