The grounds were enchanting, the hosts were welcoming and helpful. We utilized the laundry service and were very satisfied with the result. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location is right outside the old city and very walkable. We loved the space and our entire stay. This time my wife and I stayed in The White Elephant Home for two nights. The location is great, very close to old city, only several minutes’ walk. I prefer to stay outside the old city for quiet, clean and comfortable neighbourhood. We booked a room for two and they upgraded us to a family room for three. The room is spacious, new and clean with a lovely balcony. The interior and exterior match the photos and description on the website. Breakfast is freshly cooked and is delicious. We enjoyed it in the lovely garden. The staffs are nice and helpful, they have friendly smiles all the time. They speak good English and provided useful information to us in buying Green bus ticket to Chiang Rai. I didn't drive this time but I saw them providing car covers to guests and helped to cover and to remove it. Will definitely stay in The White Elephant Home again if we visit Chiang Mai again. Breakfast was really nice. The hotel is small which gives it a very relaxed atmosphere. Location is very good just a 5 min walk away from the north gate of Chang mai center. This is also where the local bus service drops you off which we used to get to and from the airport for only 20 bat each.
