Biggest Drawback for me was that the Hotel did not have an elevator. I booked the Luxury Room which was in the 5th floor, a bit much for me. Could then switch to a lower floor room, which was a bit on the very small side. It is a walk up to your room but that does not deter my desire to stay here. I came in April and they provided a hot breakfast. It is now simple toast and coffee. La chambre n'est pas très grande mais elle est suffisante si on ne reste que quelques jours. Possibilité de réserver des excursions via l'hôtel et le staff parle un peu anglais. It's a very simple family hotel, staff is nice, though their English could be better. The room is simple and small but practical. Location is great, 15 minutes walk to the old city and right between Warorot market and the night bazaar. Breakfast is 2 fries eggs, toast, 2 slices of tomato and some lettuce, and be prepared to wait 20 minutes for that. There where some seriously annoying issues: When we first arrived the AC in our room wasn't working properly so we changed rooms. After that the hair dryer committed suicide after working for about a minute, and the electric kettle smelled burnt after a single use. But it was still "working" so the staff didn't replace it... The shower has very low water pressure and an electric water heater that didn't do much. If you like steamy showers this is not the place for you. And worst of all, the heaters electrical switch is in the shower! EXPOSED! So basically if you spray some water on it you could get electrocuted. We didn't have the budget to change hotels and it was already paid for, but believe me, we we're careful as heck in there. Ich hatte das Penthouse Zimmer im De Nawarrat Hotel für 6 Nächte gebucht. Die Frauen an der Rezeption und an der Frühstücksbar sind hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Grüsse...! Auch der Reinigungsservice funktioniert ausgezeichnet, stets sehr sauber. Das Zimmer wirkt wirklich luxuriös, mit Whirlpool, Regendusche, bequemes Himmelbett, LED-TV mit DVD player, gutem Wifi und schöner Terrasse. Der einzige Nachteil ist, daß das Zimmer sich im fünften Stock (bzw. auf dem Dach) des Hotels befindet, welches leider keinen Aufzug hat. Und die Treppen sind recht steil.
