The personnel were quite nice. The property could use some maintenance. Half of the lights in our room didn’t work and the kitchen sink didn’t have any tap or running water. But the good points are the beautiful nature surrounding the property, the water pressure and the peace it provides. We were the only two European tourists staying there and it was eerily quiet after breakfast when the Chinese groups had left. Hotel was quite old and run down, not renovated for a while. Staff was friendly but did not speak very good English, we got everything settled anyway and they did their best. Food and the drinks in the hotel restaurant were delicious. Hotel pool was large and we had it completely to ourselves. But it really disappointed me this time: 1\. Dust bin was uncleared when I checked in 2\. No complimentary water on day of check in, but provided 4 bottles on the following day. End up charged me the mineral water in the fridge which I took it on the day one with thinking of complimentary. 3\. Clearness of the room is bad, slippers are old and dirty 4\. Wardrobe interior is very run-down 5\. Bit far from the city but they have a shuttle bus that runs you to the city and airport 3 x times a day which is great just like your own personal taxi. Have a ice pool and gym the room itself is very large with good balcony views of the pool. When we arrived, we were told that our room was unavailable but it would be upgraded to a suite at no additional charge. It was one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in for the money. That's called customer service. The only downside for us was the location. We needed to be closer to the city center.
