However we had some issues with the patio door not locking which meant we had to move rooms for one night. They did fix it so that we could move into our original room the next day. The AC was also a problem as you couldn’t turn it below 22 C and for such a warm place that was an issue. Overall the staff are very nice despite the language barrier and we did feel safe. While it was a bit outside of the main town, the decor was great and welcoming. They were such excellent hosts and went the extra mile to accommodate us and help us feel comfortable. The location is very easy to find and less than $5 to grab a taxi from the airport and going to old city, downtown of Chiang Mai or night market. The room is very clean, changed the towels and made the bed every day. The breakfast is prepared nicely. The price is very reasonable.
