"I love the pond. Fished on and off all day. I did catch some sun fish about 7. Wish there was more lol. The hot tub was great. I just couldn’t read the temp on it the entire number wasn’t lit up My dog had a blast. She was running all over and playing in the water We are stuck in a condo so not much place for her to kick up her heels. Would come back again"

"We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Floyd. The room, while simple in decor, was very spacious compared to name brand hotels. We appreciated that the room furnishings were mostly created from reclaimed wood from the area. All areas of the room were clean which is very important to us. Breakfast, served in a nice sized dining area, consisted of eggs, grits, toast, sausage, coffee, juice, and more. We loved that the hotel was within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The little farmers market was less than a 5 minute walk. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the mattresses in the room. They weren’t horrible but you could feel every movement if your spouse turned in the night. We enjoyed our stay and will return again."

"We had a great stay at this beautiful lake house! There was a snafu with our check-in time but the hosts were gracious in getting us in as quickly as possible. The weather was rainy and cool, so we didn’t spend any time on the lake, but we loved the screened porch and hot tub. The outdoor kitchen was great as well. Hope to return on a warmer weekend."

"The Garden House sits on a beautiful property with gorgeous views. The home has very comfortable furnishings and full kitchen and grill outside. The owners are very welcoming and attentive to a traveler’s questions or needs. A welcome book provides all the necessary information for the stay."

"Wonderful stay. Inside was clean and extra supplies were available in all areas of the home. The outside was comfortable, but needed some TLC with the grill, side deck and spider webs. The drive also needed some TLC in washed out areas. We have a four wheel drive v-8 and used it. The views were great and we saw deer grazing next to the house on the lawn. Simple repairs and an outside cleaning would make it perfect. It was a good deal for the ."

"We had the perfect weekend at this cabin. The hosts were amazing and upgraded us at no extra charge, allowed us early check-in at no cost and brought carrot cake when we arrived. The cabin was peaceful and we had daily deer visits. We plan to rebook again in the spring."

"You simply cannot go wrong choosing this property!The “It’s 5 O’Clock Here” cabin is absolutely adorable and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. When my wife and I arrived, we were immediately impressed by how absolutely immaculate the entire place was. Everything was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully taken care of.We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary here, and we honestly could not have chosen a better place. We had a fantastic and incredibly relaxing stay, and we truly felt like we had nothing to worry about.We explored Fancy Gap, Galax, and Hillsville, and had an absolute blast spending the day in Mount Airy, NC—Andy Griffith’s hometown, which is only about 20 minutes away. We also did quite a bit of hiking and were completely taken aback by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.But some of our favorite moments were actually spent right at the cabin. We spent so much time in the evenings and early mornings sitting on the covered porch, relaxing in the hot tub, reading a book, or simply enjoying a meal together. And the view from that porch is absolutely awesome!We appreciated the property and the host so much that we're actually entertaining the idea of coming back and renting both cabins—one for us and one for my wife's brother and his wife. That should tell you just how much we enjoyed our stay!To make a long story short: RENT THIS PLACE! You will have absolutely no regrets. Thank you Laura!"
