"The place is old and there was an odor. We stayed 2 nights and the first night was yelling and screaming outside that awoke us. The second night was a lot of music. The drawers were big except the top one was coming apart. The place was a junior suite and had a full-size refridgerater and a cook top stove and microwave. The refridgerator was keeping the water bottles very cold"
"As a lifelong Alaskan, I had never seen the area down by Ship Creek! Staying made it a memorable night, being able to walk along the water with my pup and watch the fishermen! The area felt like its own little village.
Rooms are huge! Breakfast was great, we felt safe, and staff was very kind and helpful (12pm late out for free! And helping me store my luggage for a bit while room was cleaned).
I would gladly stay again and/or recommend to others:)"
"front desk staff a little abrupt but the property was perfect. other staff very friendly and gave me an unexpected extra late check out. everything was awesome, great place to stay "
Minutes from museum, train depot, malls and shopping and both hospitals.
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect for our needs. We took day trips all around Anchorage and other parts of Alaska and it was easily within distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Great location, five to ten minutes away from everything in Anchorage including restaurants, Walmart, and Costco. Tons of space. The owners were awesome! They were very quick to answer any questions we had, and they helped us out in a number of ways, such as: providing bear spray for hikes and a fishing pole for the kids when we asked. The arcade games and foosball table were a big hit with the kids. We were able to cook a bunch of meals in the kitchen so we didn't have to go out to eat every meal. Having a grill to use was great too! After hiking and exploring Alaska each day, it was always wonderful to be able to relax at night in the hot tub. Everything in the house was very nice and you can tell a lot of thought was put into how it is arranged and maintained. There are a ton of little touches provided that make traveling much easier, eg. coffee pods, laundry machines and soap, shampoo and body wash, and more. We had a family of seven and were very comfortable. We highly recommend this property. "
"Very cute and cozy little house. The owner was across the street and very helpful. We stayed in 2 different of his houses and they were great. Would stay again if we ever make it back. "
"Property was a short rideshare from everything, walkable to a cute coffee stand. Great light blocking shades in bedrooms, the shares did not quite cover the entire living room windows. Would stay again!"
