We have covered motorcycle parking. Just 5 minutes to Santeetlah Marina, and a short drive to Joyce Kilmer National Forest, Cherohala Skyway, hiking,biking and kayaking! Great for a family or group of friends for a rustic retreat. This simple cottage has a wonderful front porch and open living dining space with lots of windows and a large farm table with plenty of room for card games or hearty breakfast. We have a full kitchen to prepare meals . We have a washer and dryer for your convenience.There is a full oven and stove, microwave, refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker. One bed was a little low for anyone with mobility issues but they were all very comfortable! Lots of amenities and the host was super helpful. She had her dad replace the broken coffee pot the same day I reported it was not working. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood close to a beautiful lake and has cover parking for motorcycles and provides rags to clean them if you need to. Two spots on the ceiling suggest that something is leaking. The bedrooms are a little damp. We could not get the Tv to work and not even the DVD player. Might be a good thing: we read some books.
