I stayed at the Westin Chennai twice during Aug 2022. The Customer Service here is excellent. Something that other Marriott hotels can learn from. Attentive, helpful without being overbearing.
Received an email even before I checked in asking if they could do anything to welcome me at the airport or do anything else to make check in easy.
Checking in was quick, easy with a separate area for Elite members. Jenny did a great job with check in and with check out.
Food is very good at the hotel and since i stayed several days, I can vouch for the prompt attentiveness of the people at the main restaurant. Many names ... Bala, Amit, Pushpa, Rajesh, Kamlesh, Hrishikesh stood out as excellent.
Variety of food is nice and the Sunday brunch is very good.
The rooms are clean, quite and at excellent international standards. The concierge is very helpful as are the staff. Pool was closed for renovation, however the hotel had prominently mentioned it several times, and made alternate arrangements which I did not use.
A beautiful Bon Voyage pastry put icing on the cake of two very nice stays.
