It accommodates 6 guests and has a main bedroom, a sleeping loft, and built-in bunk beds. The Space: Wauhatchie Woodlands is a family-owned collection of quaint, tiny-home, rustic-comfort log cabins on a 14-acre wooded property surrounded by National Park land. This natural setting is nested less than a mile from the city with quick access to downtown Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the surrounding area. Named after Frank & Nicole's daughter, Ani Cabin is equipped with everything you could ever need to make the most of your time in Chattanooga. Ani is one of our bunk bed cabins, perfect for families. During your stay, you’ll enjoy a private hot tub, furnished back deck, fire pit, covered front porch with charcoal grill, and an incredibly memorable, charming space surrounded by nature. Ani can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests between the main bedroom, built in bunk beds, and sleeping loft. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, smart TV, and more. Starting from the back, you’ll find the fully furnished deck, surrounded by decades-old trees, there awaits a space of pure relaxation, your private hot tub, with easy access to the main bedroom. Just beside the cabin is the shared fire pit and pavilion, perfect for fireside chats and evening s'mores. Firewood can be purchased on-property. Inside, the main bedroom hosts a queen bed, closets for hanging clothes, lots of drawer storage, and a Smart TV. Just outside the bedroom are the built in bunk beds across from the full bathroom with bathtub. A step further we enter the kitchen, fully stocked for cooking/dining with an electric range, microwave, stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and all the dishes you need to whip up a vacation feast. The living room and kitchen feature an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings with the main TV across from the sofa. Up the staircase is the sleeping loft equipped with two twin beds. Kids will love having their own space. For grownups, clearance in the loft is low, just 4' - it’s perfect for sleeping, just watch your head when you get up. The cabin’s covered front porch with dining set is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee, or grilling out on your dedicated charcoal grill (charcoal not include). Please note that active train tracks that border the property to the north and light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. Each cabin has been equipped with a white noise machine to help minimize any disturbance. If you are concerned about the potential for noise, please contact our guest services team directly. To make sure your stay at Wauhatchie Woodlands is perfect, our locally based Guest Services representatives are on-call from 8 am to 11 pm, seven days a week. Guest Access: You’ll have your cabin all to yourself during your stay. Wauhatchie Woodlands is a 14-acre property surrounded by National Forest. Guests have access to trails around the grounds, as well as shared pavilions, community fire pits, and playground. Please be respectful of other guests during your stay. The Neighborhood: Lookout Valley Getting Around: To make the most of your stay, we recommend a car to get around. Each of our tiny cabins can accommodate two cars in private driveways. UBER and Lyft are available throughout the Chattanooga area, in addition to a number of local taxi services. Please note that availability may be extremely limited during peak times. The city of Chattanooga offers reasonably priced parking on the street and in several public parking lots. A free electric shuttle bus runs between the Chattanooga Choo Choo and the Tennessee Aquarium with stops at every block. The buses run every 15 minutes, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 10 pm, Saturday from 9:30 am to 11 pm, and Sunday from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm. Bus schedules may vary, please consult the Chattanooga Area Regional Transit Authority website for the most up to date schedules. Bike Chattanooga offers bike share rentals at 42 self-service kiosk locations all around downtown Chattanooga. With over 300 bicycles and 50 e-bikes this is a great way to explore the city. There are active train tracks that border the property to the north and I-24 is about half a mile away. Please note that light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. Deposits: Please note that guests under 21 or guests residing in the Greater Chattanooga Metropolitan Area will be charged a $200 refundable deposit subsequent to receiving their booking confirmation. No Smoking: Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited inside Timberroot properties. Everything really was excellent and wish we had more time to explore and enjoy it. The inside was pretty immaculate, only “complaint” is that we had to sweep and knock down a lot of cobwebs and dust on the outside. But we would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to others. The cabins are right across from rock city and ruby falls. There is a Publix right down the street and the hot tubs or the one cabin with a pool are always kept extremely clean! You can also purchase firewood for 5 bucks My tv stopped working and the maintenance crew that stopped by were the nicest people and were able to fix it immediately! Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I wasn’t to sure how we’d like it because of the reviews of the train sounds. But I found it to be relaxing and not loud at all. They do have sound mechanics. But we didn’t use it. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. This place is must if you haven’t been.
