"Our family had a lovely week here and came home with some really happy memories.Céline and Mathieu could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Arrival was really smooth and they spent time showing us around the gîte and explaining how everything worked.Everything was perfect throughout our stay. The pool was cleaned daily, the cats popped in to say hello, and collecting fresh eggs from the chickens was a lovely extra. Our children absolutely loved the pool, the eggs and making friends with the cats.The air-conditioning was excellent - quiet but powerful - and the kitchen was very well equipped. There were lots of thoughtful touches including Nespresso pods, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, kitchen towels, fresh coffee and plenty more.There were USB chargers and cables throughout, plenty of sockets, fast and reliable internet, and a great TV and surround sound system with streaming services all working perfectly.Céline also gave us some excellent advice for our trip into Paris.On our final morning we were treated to fresh croissants and pains au chocolat, which was a lovely way to end the holiday.Céline and Mathieu waved us off as we left, and we headed home after a fantastic family week away. Brilliant hosts and somewhere we would happily recommend."

"This hotel is by itself out in the country, but truly only about a 10 minute drive to the nearest city center. One thing to be aware of is the cost of the pool is €45 for a half a day or you can go after 6:30 at night for two hours for €10. In other words, you must pay extra if you want to use the pool. The restaurant on site is fabulous. We had the chef special menu and it was wonderful however, that chef special is for seven days. We did not do the breakfast. If you visited Monet‘s garden, this is a great place to stay about 20 minutes away."

"Lovely host (owner?) welcomed us. Little english but good use of translation app. Small, quiet property with a nice view over the valley. Room was new and very well done and equipped with everything one would need. Continental breakfast was a nice touch. The rooms are laid out such that other guests walk past your patio and doors which is probably unavoidable but obviously has an impact on privacy. The grounds are only partially complete but it really isn't an issue. I suppose the oddest issue was a 15 euro charge per person to use the pool. Given that you're paying $300/night for a relatively modest property it seems like an entirely unnecessary surcharge."
