Good location if you want to spend the weekend going to the theme park - Futuroscope, only a 15 minutes walk and the parking for the hotel is free. Nothing else much to do around, there were a few shops around but they were closed the weekend we spent there. Lovely multilingual staff. Bar was always unattended so you to go to reception to get someone to come over to order, the cocktails were pretty good though.

Fantastic location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room. Food in restaurant was very high quality and delicious. Fully understand how to make guests comfortable particuarly given covid 19 situation.

Covid h’guidelines well respected. Breakfast was very good although in general the room felt more like 3 star than 4 star. Swimming pool guys will need small tight swim shorts not my usual swim shorts as they were not allowed.

Great stop off
Quick stop off having driven back through France from Spain. Lovely day in La Rochelle and then stopped off here for the night. Hotel was beautifully clean, modern and spacious. Nice pool too. Strange area though, I think it’s a new development but felt a bit empty. Didn’t bother us though. Had a nice cheap dinner round the corner. Ideal

Stayed here for Futuroscope
Was great location for Futuroscope as was only about 10-15 min walk away. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel which was good. Didn’t use the pool but had some fun in the games/arcade area which was reasonably priced. Lovely hotel, very clean and modern, would definitely stay again if visiting Futuroscope. Only small downside was that the air con is controlled by reception, but you can ring down to have it adjusted and also on arrival their was a slight smell of drains from the bathroom. We didn’t report this as it passed within a few hours. There is a patisserie/cafe just outside if you want a cheaper breakfast too.

Convenient. Pricey. Exceptional Reception staff.
Used as a stopover, travelling from Portugal back to the U.K. Ideal as it is right next to the connecting motorway. Big hotel. Reception staff are fantastically friendly and welcoming. The rooms were huge but lack proper sound proofing from rooms above and next door and our beds were creaky. The noise from the hand dryers or vacuum cleaners I nterrupted our sleep early Sunday morning. One of the hotels major plus, apart from the reception staff, is the small indoor swimming pool and small gym area for the size of the hotel. Pool lacked towels. But brilliant to be able to have a swim in the morning. Empty on a Sunday morning. Not sure how busy it would be on another day. We didn’t opt for the breakfast which at €15 we found expensive for the already pricey stay. Should be included. For the price, you would expect the niceties of toiletries, in-room coffee/tea facilities, dressing gown and slippers. There were none. Hotel could do with mordernising especially the rooms.

Great one night stay
This was a great hotel for a one night stay right off the highway. It was very clean and comfortable. You must ask at the desk for them to adjust the temperature in your room, but other than that the room was perfect for our family. The breakfast buffet was extra, but also very nice with both hot and cold selections.

Close to futuroscope. Forget the swimmingpool. Men are not allow to swim without speedous forget the usual shorts that you normally wear everywhere else

Nothing is amazing about this hotel , they charge you for slippers and bathrobes. Also you cannot control the A/C from the room. You have to contact the receiption. Room was clean.

Conveniently located by futurosope.
Grand hotel with friendly and professional staff. A little dated inside but clean and comfortable. Offers shuttle to futuriscope which saves you 7 euros for parking!

Hard to find, looks modem but isn't
Welcome good after driving around for quite a while trying to find it. Reception bright and modern, if only the rooms were. Carpet very stained and Windows grubby. No air con as controlled by reception. Bathroom really needs refurb. Shower is strong but too powerful for the bracket that holds it, it sprays everywhere! The car park is fenced off so much you have a long walk around to the bar and patisserie that are a few feet away. I tried to explain about the shower etc at check out but we weren't asked about our stay and he really didn't seem to care. Also there was nothing in room about room service so we didn't think that did it and went out. When we get back though there were room service trays outside their rooms. Lack of info.

Unfortunately, we could hear a constant low humming noise in the room.We were unable to sleep.The sound was coming from outside (a condenser) The next morning we complained and was given one free breakfast .This did not compensate for the lack of sleep.Breakfast was poor with only scrambled egg and frankfurters as hot food. When staff are aware a room has noise issues they should tell you,so that if you are a light sleeper you could decline that room ,

Modern hotel in a remote location
Modern convention hotel located in a remote location near the Futuroscope. Rooms are comfortable, well furnished and spacious. Hotel is wonderfully quiet at night. Breakfast is OK but rather expensive. WIFI is very good.

Booked for stopover at futuroscope. Its on site, pretty reasonable and very clean. Double room was great. Breakfast was ok and a bit pricey we thought, but then again France is a rip off anyway so suppose wasnt too bad !

Decent hotel
We checked in last minute and got a decent rate. The room was okay, although not super modern as the 'futuroscope' would lead one to believe. The "king" was two twin beds pushed together. Dinner was okay. I thought maybe cost too much for the quality. We ordered salads and they were large, foie gras, and the steak tartare. All in all, nothing to rave about, but no complaints either.

Ideal hotel for overnight or longer break
Our second stay in just over two weeks, travelling home to the UK. We've not visited the Futuroscope Park and have no idea what it's all about but it certainly makes this hotel busy!! Comfortable room and communal areas, only slight negative is the parking which gets so busy it can be tough to find a space. All round great place and would definitely stay again.

Poor Family Hotel
Positives Excellent location just off the A10, within walking distance of Futuroscope. Reception staff polite and friendly Negatives AirCon is controlled by reception so have to keep calling the reception everytime the room temperature needs to be adjusted. A ridiculous hotel rule means you're only allowed in the hotel pool if you're wearing budgie smugglers and don't make a noise. Normal swimming shorts are not allowed and family play time is frowned upon. Pity they don't stipulate this on the website

The perfect family hotel
The location of the hotel was ideal for stop one on our road trip from the UK to southern Spain - easy to find and right of the motorway. Our requirements were fairly specific: room for four plus two small dogs, comfortable and quiet! Staying in lots of hotels on business I can be critical but was very pleased with our choice. The lobby areas and room was impeccably clean, the room was extremely comfortable and quiet, the beds perfect. All round this was an excellent hotel and I rebooked to stay on our return journey. Areas for improvement: we didn't take breakfast as at €50 for a family of four it seemed a little steep (perhaps could have negotiated) and I would like to room to have been air conditioned (this didn't cause us any issues to be fair).

Nice hotel close to Futuroscope
Lovely clean well maintained room. Staff helpful. Walking distance to Futuroscope and a nice bakery on the corner of the bloke next door which did a very reasonable priced breakfast. Lots of family/chain restaurants along the main road in Portiers only 5 minute drive. It is a very big hotel so a bit impersonal, but we used as a base to visit Futuroscope and it was great for this.

Very Pleasant as a Stopover
We stayed for one night each way during our journey to and from our holiday in South Western France during August. The hotel was easy to find, spacious, clean and comfortable and we enjoyed pleasant meals served by friendly and helpful staff in the restaurant. It was child-friendly as well as being comfortable and relaxed for adults. We shall certainly stay there again.

Generally pleased with the hotel which was an over night stop on our way south. We were disappointed that there was no room service, particularly as there were no hot drink facilities in the rooms but had a pleasant meal when we arrived and decent breakfast before we set off next day.

Overall an ok experience. The reception staff were helpful, the room was fine and the swimming pool although totally unattended (no reception staff as off season) was empty and really very nice. What let it down was the restaurant. We were only presented with the main menu when we noticed that other French guests were offered the menu of the day. Then when I chose a glass of wine - the one recommended wit the dish - the waiter overruled me and selected another wine that was twice the price. The fine was almost certainly better but I do not believe it is the role of waiters to do this. Breakfast tables were not cleared and the buffet replenished quickly enough. It is perfectly situated for Futuroscope and the motorway, so this was not enough to put me off entirely.

Ideal Hotel for Futuroscope
The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and our room was as requested (two connecting rooms). The restaurant was OK but a bit pricey (cheaper and more choice if you eat in Futuroscope itself). The hotel was full of families with children, all presumably visiting Futuroscope! The hotel was ideal for this - just a 10 minute walk or short (free?) bus ride from the park. However there is NOTHING else around, so unless you are going to Futuroscope or intend simply to remain in the hotel, go somewhere else.
