"Room.was clean but it doesnt get cleaned unless requested. Recommend asking at front desk.during check.in for a refresh on day 2 or 3. Beds very comfortable, room was spacious and updated. Staff do not speak English fluently, so use Google translate if need be. Bring some washing machine detergent and sheets from home saves purchasing as its expensive on site for longer stays. Resort fees are not added on your bill until the end so be prepared for that in addition to cost of hotel, resort fees are not optional. Great proximity to beach (lifeguarded) which was nice, great location. Great experience. *tip in cash is preferred at the beach. **** eating on boardwalk, expect 20% service fees auto included on most restaurant bills and this is not the tip."

"The room was top notch, perfectly AC cooled for my arrival. The hotel is literally on the Hollywood Boardwalk adjacent to the well-groomed beach and dozens of fantastic eateries and shops. There was no excessive noise during my entire stay. Rooms are serviced every day, which is a big plus these days. There is complimentary coffee and tea 24/7. I can't say enough positives about the management, front desk and remaining hotel staff -- they truly want you to be totally satisfied. In fact, I stayed at the hotel for my first time just a little over 5-weeks before this visit, and decided to come back to celebrate my birthday, and I will definitely come back in the future. An unknown Florida gem!"

"Recently planned a little staycation with a couple friends. We saw blue wave was available so we book 2 rooms, when we got to the property to check in it was actually through Hollywood beach hotels which owns a few properties. When I recieved my keys I noticed that they had assigned me to a different property which is not what I booked. When I noticed i immediately let the front desk agent know, he then told me that there were no more rooms available at blue wave which was confusing because why would they allow you to book it if there wouldn’t be enough rooms?? I explained I had other friends staying at blue wave so me being at another property defeats the purpose of even booking with them. He then went & looked to find that there was in fact rooms available at blue wave which was nice of him. Unfortunately the room I received was so hot and humid that I did not enjoy my stay whatsoever. I’ve booked with Hollywood beach hotels a few times & have ever had such a terrible experience. "

"The Hotel was nice but the Beach and the Ocean was NOT clean, the water was completely covered with seaweed which made it very difficult to get in to the clear water. The Hotel and the Beach was very busy, since the Hotel management let all public access to the Hotel, Restaurants and especially letting all public park in the Hotel, so we had to look hard for parking. The Board walk front of the Hotel was very busy. I will NOT return to this Hotel nor to this area."
