Modern Farmhouse | Charlevoix Boyne Petoskey

  • "Pincherry Acres" is the perfect Northern Michigan retreat. Centrally, located only 8 miles from Charlevoix, Petoskey and Boyne City. For the summer months enjoy the beauty of either Lake Michigan or Lake Charlevoix. In the winter, close to both Nub's Nob and Boyne. 20 minutes from Castle Farms, Walloon Lake, and 10 minutes to Bay Harbor.

    This modern farmhouse (completely renovated) is located on 50 acres, you can enjoy the built in outdoor kitchen, a picnic on the top of the meadow or hike, snowshoe the many trails in the wooded forest. In the fall, outdoor sportsmen are welcome (with additional permissions). ATVs are welcome with a liability waiver.

    You're welcome to explore the 50 acres however, this is a shared property so you may see other nature enthusiasts on the property.

Memorial Day weekend

Had such a great time at this home. It is centrally located to Petoskey and Charlevoix. The owners were wonderful and very responsive. I hope we can stay here again in the very near future!

Family and I had a great stay. Very quaint and quiet. Check in was easy. The kids loved the bunk beds. They are at the top of the stairs in the hallway so something to consider as you’ll walk past them to get to the other 2 bedrooms upstairs to not wake them up. Loved the outdoors and fire pit. Great central location between Charlevoix and Petoskey. Would stay again!

Great Family Stay!

We loved staying at Pincherry Acres for our family’s long weekend. The house is clean and had everything we needed for our family. We love the proximity to Petoskey and also to Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands for skiing. This was a return trip and we will be back again!

Great spot for family ski vacation

The house was clean, spacious, well-stocked, cozy and the beds were super comfortable. Kids loved the bunk bed nook and it was great having our dog able to join us. The outside space was wonderful for walking the dog and we enjoyed the trails into the woods. Location was perfect for visiting Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain. We would recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Quiet farm in great location

Enjoyed a short after-Christmas stay before the kids went back to school. House was clean and very pleasant. Communication was good. Great location - close to Petoskey and Boyne. Hoping to stay again!

Our stay was wonderful!!! This was the perfect open concept home for our family of 6. It is centrally located, so that you are a 15-30 minute drive from everything in the area. We were a short drive to Nubs Nob, Highlands, and Boyne for skiing; and about the same time to the Cadillac area for snowmobiling. We also were a short drive to many restaurants, bars, and shopping in Petoskey, Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, and Boyne City. Our hosts Lesa & Eddie were awesome! Honestly, it felt like I was renting from longtime family friends. They were extremely kind and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better time. We will definitely be back to experience the area in the warmer months.

Winter in N Michigan

The property and home were fantastic - a great setup for a family of four. We also enjoyed cooking at the property, they had a gas stove which is a bonus for us. Communication was great as well. Would definitely recommend.

We love our stays here, and this was no exception. The location is great for skiing in the winter and to access local restaurants. The house is clean and has all the things you need when staying for a long weekend. It was super convenient that the driveway was plowed for us without asking when we stayed during the winter.

Excellent Up North winter getaway

We loved this renovated old farmhouse! Very comfortable and great amenities, and dog friendly! We loved the trails on the 50 acres behind the house, beautiful field and wooded property. We were so fortunate that the snow came just before we got there and were able to X-country ski on the property as well as enjoy snowboarding at Boyne and Nubs Nob. Close to Boyne City and Petoskey for restaurants. Lovely winter getaway!

Michigan Summer Vacation

The home was comfortable, clean and convenient to many places we wanted to visit. We spent time in Traverse City, Charlevoix and Petoskey. We arrived after visiting Grand Haven, Holland and Sleeping Bear Dunes. We headed to Mackinac Island and the UP after our stay. The kitchen was stocked with many basics that we were able to stay in and cook some meals. We visited the beach one day and the house had beach towels and chairs available for us to use. We also explored the trails behind the house in the morning before heading to the beach. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this house.

We absolutely loved our stay at this modern farmhouse! It was the perfect romantic getaway for our anniversary in the beautiful Charlevoix/Petoskey area.The home is stunning—bright, airy, and thoughtfully designed with an awesome rustic finish that perfectly blends modern comfort with charming farmhouse character. High-end finishes, comfortable furnishings, and a gorgeous kitchen made cooking meals a joy. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-stocked. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we especially appreciated the peaceful setting with lovely views.We spent most of our downtime on the nice patio with the great grill—it was perfect for relaxing, enjoying morning coffee, and cooking up some delicious meals outdoors. The location is ideal: easy access to charming towns, beaches, wineries, and outdoor activities, yet quiet and private. Communication with the host was excellent from booking through checkout. We truly felt at home and didn’t want to leave!If you’re looking for a beautiful, modern farmhouse experience in Northern Michigan, book this one—you won’t be disappointed. Great renovated farm house! The home was centrally located near Petoskey and Charlevoix. My family and I enjoyed the beautiful patio area and grill. The house was clean and comfortable and allowed plenty of room for our group of six. Look forward to returning to this beautiful property.
