    Walk everywhere from this charming villa, ideally located in the heart of historic downtown Charleston on a peaceful, quiet street. Enjoy a private, enclosed, courtyard and be just minutes from the College of Charleston, Charleston’s renowned King Street dining scene, Meeting Street restaurants, shopping, the arts, and all the splendors of historic downtown Charleston.

    The location is central and does not require a car. However, a private parking space is available next to the gated entrance and is best suited for small to midsize vehicles (not large SUVs or trucks).

    Relax and unwind in the 400-square-foot landscaped garden patio featuring a water fountain, electric grill, comfortable seating enhanced with soft ambient lighting that creates a warm inviting atmosphere both day and night.

The Rabbit Hole Villa was just perfect for our stay in Charleston. A peaceful haven, beautifully appointed, with our own private yard. The interior is immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has all the necessities (we cooked our own breakfasts), and we loved the palm tree glasses for our evening wine (we bought some just like them online). The neighborhood is very attractive and quiet. Lots of good restaurants a short walk away. Communications with our hostess were prompt and gracious. We'd give the place six stars out of five, and will return here next time we come to Charleston.

Quaint and charming residence. Lovely courtyard welcomes you and inside was just as nice. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and all very clean. Centrally located. First let me just say the Host was amazing. She sent very detailed instructions about how it in where it is and where the parking spot is. She even sent pictures so we could see. The place is so beautiful and so very nice!! The pictures does not do it justice. Just loved it all around!. This place even has a parking spot so you don’t have to find a parking spot. That was great!It is also like a five to ten minute to walk to downtown. So you can walk everywhere you want to go!! Over all I just loved everything about it!!

This charming little getaway is perfect for a couple, and is nestled in the heart of the best part of Charleston and tucked away on a quiet street. Mary is an amazing, and attentive host and answered any questions we had. The private courtyard is a hidden oasis with beautiful plantings and comfy furniture for relaxing. The Rabbit Hole Villa is Class A all the way. Beautiful outside courtyard. Spacious living room, kitchen, bedroom and bath. Tastefully decorated. Full kitchen with matching dishes, flatware, pots and pans, etc. No mismatching castoffs. Bed was extremely comfortable. Lots of windows and light, gas fireplace made for a very cozy living room. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and this villa is definitely a favorite. Also appreciated the owner’s speedy resolution of an issue. Highly recommend!!!

Quick Getaway to Charleston SC

We stayed at the Rabbit Hole Villa in Charleston SC to celebrate our 20th anniversary (1 year late!). This was my first Vrbo rental ever. I had been to the city once before in late '80s under much different circumstances. This rental was clean, completely equipped for staying in (we cooked on our last night instead of going out) and has a fantastic courtyard for relaxing outside while still having some privacy. Charleston just reeks of history, and this part of the city is very walkable - we just parked the car once we arrived and hoofed it all over the penisula. We had clear communication with the host from our initial reservation several months ago thru checkout. If we come again would definitely consider staying there once more:)
