Sunny 5BR w/ Saltwater Pool & 6-Seat Golf Cart Close to Beach

Tucked away on a quiet street under magnificent live oaks, this Isle of Palms gem ‘Firefly’ is a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach, marina, Wild Dunes Golf Club and other Isle of Palms attractions as well as only a 25 minute drive from historic downtown Charleston. This beautiful 2550 sq. ft. home, completely remodeled in 2013, features a total of 5 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, two of which are en-suite.

Through the front door you enter into a spacious living area with vaulted ceilings and light pouring in from the numerous windows and French doors. The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area to create an ideal central gathering area. The kitchen features a massive marble island with gas range, prep sink, counter seating and a pantry stocked with amenities. The adjoining dining area features a large table with seating for 8. The living area also comfortably seats 8 with a 60-inch HD television with cable tv central for viewing.

The back doors of the living space open up to a saltwater pool surrounded by a large deck area completely redone and expanded in 2020 - perfect for sunbathing, barbecuing and dining al fresco. There is also direct access to the pool deck from the master suite.

A 6-seat golf cart is provided for our guests use - the most fun way to get around town! Beach towels and chairs are included as well as other basic amenities. With several restaurants, a Harris Teeter grocery store and other shops nearby, Firefly is the perfect choice for your Isle of Palms getaway!

Family Getaway

We had a lovely stay and appreciate having found this property. The kids were comfy in their own rooms and had a good time in the pool. We were able to gather with friends locally who live close by which made the location ideal. Short golf cart ride to the marina.

Family reunion

Excellent location for a family reunion. Beach and grocery store access made it easy for small groups to break away and enjoy time together. The seating area was great for playing games and watching football together.

We had a great time. The property was well kept and match the pictures posted. Owner’s were responsive and check in is straight forward. Having the golf cart was great to get around locally. I highly recommend this home.

Great place for a girls trip

This a great place for five long distance friends to meet up and have a relaxing weekend. The house was great for us. It’s just a few minutes from the beach and town, or 30 minutes into Charleston. It was well equipped for our five star weekend!

Wonderful house and location

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was so comfortable and beautiful, and the kids loved having the pool just steps outside. We enjoyed using the golf cart for the beach and close trips. Despite the tropical storm interruption, we had a great vacation. The hosts were very communicative and helpful during the stressful weather situation! We would love to return in the future.

Great house near the beach

The house was super cute and well stocked with everything you need. Although it was a little rainy and cool to use the pool, it was beautiful. Having the golf cart was a big plus. Thank you!

Beautiful IoP Home

Beautiful home with great laylout for family. Just a few short blocks to the beach, but they have a golf cart if you don't want to walk. Great communication with host. Very clean. WIll happily return on our next trip to IoP!

Great Family Space

This home was the perfect spot for a family getaway with young children. It is exactly as pictured. It was great to have beach chairs, toys, towels, umbrellas and coolers ready for the beach. The back patio with the table and pool was a perfect hangout spot. We enjoyed the quiet of being just off the traffic of the main road. Prudence and Vincent were excellent hosts responded quickly to questions and checked in on us during a storm to make sure we didn't need anything. We would love to stay here again.

Girls getaway

It was a girls getaway and the house was perfect for that! We have some very picky women in our group and they actually only had nice things to say after our stay. I was shocked. The amenities were top notch and the location was just perfect. The house was beautiful and so clean. I would definitely stay here again as it was close to every thing.

The pictures and description of this residence truly do not do it justice. Our family of ten went for family vacation, and we were exceptionally pleased. There is not a single detail that these owners have not considered; the house is stocked to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. The golf cart on property allowed us to get to the beach within minutes, and communication with the host was seamless. You will not regret booking this home.

Not sure what else I can add that has not already been said about Firefly because as others, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Communication was great and the house was spotless and very comfortable and tasteful. Great location, especially with the golf cart, which made it super easy to get to the beach. We liked being off the HWY as the house location was very quiet under the large trees. Rooms and home were tastefully decorated and the kitchen stocked. Pool was great too. Would come back for sure again.

Perfect vacation home

This property on isle of palms was just what we needed for my family of 5 and my in laws. The location was excellent and the amenities for my family were perfect. It’s just like the photos and the hosts were easy to work with. Easy access to the beach (especially with the golf cart), the pool was awesome, and we loved the proximity to Charleston. We even said next time we would just fly because the house was so well equipped we didn’t need everything we brought! After this trip I hope to make isle of palms a place my family vacations for years to come!

Lovely week at Firefly with family in IOP!

My extended family of 10 stays for a week in Isle of Palms each summer. This was our first time renting Firefly and we were very pleased with the property. It is a 10 minute walk or a quick golf cart ride to the beach. The home is decorated beautifully and well stocked with everything you need for an easy and enjoyable stay. The property manager was super responsive with any questions or issues we had -- which were minor. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood with beautiful homes and landscaping. Would definitely rent Firefly again!

Beautiful home

Had a wonderful family vacation! Home is well provisioned for children. We had plenty of rainy day activities. Golf cart was perfect for short trips around town and to the beach. Everyone enjoyed the pool with lots of toys. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of coffee was provided. Small issues of one bathroom sink not being clean, one duvet cover needing a wash, and not enough paper products were overshadowed by the beautiful surrounds of the home, convenient location, fun design details etc. We loved it here and would definitely come back!

The house and location were great for our family beach trip

We loved the pool, deck, and grill in a very private backyard. The golf cart made it easy to get back and forth to the beach all in one trip with all our beach chairs and umbrellas.
