The apartment is historic and decorated beautifully. It’s small but functional. We had 3 adults, and while we had plenty of room, there wasn’t much space to stretch out. There are no closets, so keep that in mind when packing. If anyone in your party is a larger size, the space might feel a bit tight. Overall, we had a great stay. A family with young children were above us on the second floor. We could hear every footstep and every conversation. Also, the location was much more difficult for seniors to walk from, than it was for our teens. 2 miles one way was okay, but the roundtrip of 4 miles was difficult for an over 70 with back issues. Also, the add on fees of the vrbo made it almost unaffordable. For first time visitors, Charleston is an expensive city. ##### Daniel S.
