It's the perfect location for exploring the area, great restaurants & the terrific Harris Teeter nearby (open 24 hours). It's beautiful, comfortable, and very clean- much better than staying at a hotel. The entire rental process was seamless thanks to the Matt and Tricia, the proprietors. The location is great - you can walk to a lot of great restaurants (check out Artisan Meat Share for lunch - a small sandwich shop) and King Street shopping is close enough to walk to. The kitchen is well stocked and user friendly with modern appliances. The king size bed is cozy and inviting. Once we got our bearings on the location it was in and out of the driveway like we were locals and having an assigned parking space in the neighborhood is a must. The unit has all you need to feel relaxed. It is actually more spacious than the pics suggest. Definitely feels it’s over 100 year old age in style but is completely redone in high end finishes. Very clean and comfortable. Because it rained the entire time we were in Charleston, we did drive everywhere, but would have been walkable if we could have. We checked in and were hungry, so we headed out the door and found a really lovely restaurant just half a block away (Goulettes). It’s great that there is an assigned parking spot. The owner, Matt, was easy to communicate with and provided very clear, organized details for my visit. He is doing a great job as a property manager. The unit is very clean, stylish, and well equipped. Hair dryer, iron, kitchen essentials were all there. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was large with a nice dining table and chairs. Only minor recommendation I would make is to purchase a new sofa bed as the existing one is not very comfortable and I'd probably go with a double as the room can handle it. It's a great area of downtown with so much in walking distance. Enjoyed Fuel and Five Loaves Cafe nearby. I hope to rent one of Matt's units again. ##### Carla P. Well appointed kitchen with top of the line appliances and marble countertops. Comfortable sitting room with good light for reading, which can be hard to find and flat screen tv.. Small(one sink)but highly functional bathroom with great hot water and great water pressure. King bedroom with flat screen tv and walk in closet. Apartment C is on the second floor and has lots of natural light and is as quiet as Charleston can be. Pet-friendly so we brought our shih-tzu who was a happy doggy. Unbelievable restaurants in the neighborhood-Hominy Grill across the street, Xiao Bao Biscuit a block away etc. The location is a little outside of the heart of the tourist district but you can still walk to most everywhere and the free trolleys to everything touristy are available at the visitors center which is a ten minute walk. Off street parking comes with your unit which is really necessary in this city. We will stay there again. Thank you Matt ##### Robert V. My wife and I enjoyed our spacious suite which had everything we need during our stay. The king size bed was super comfortable for a great night sleep. The kitchen was well appointed. It took us awhile to figure out where to walk in the city but king street was only about a 12 min. Walk. Plenty of shopping & eaters in the area. The parking is a little tight. We were happy that we rented a small car to explore the city & surrounding areas. The airport, beach, bars and more was so much fun! We would recommend this spot to anyone.
