This more than 7,000sf oceanfront home is located on over an acre of land on the coveted south end of Isle of Palms which creates a true sense of privacy. It comfortably sleeps 28 guests and has 10 bedrooms total with 5 being oceanfront. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms to ensure comfort, convenience, and luxury for all guests. There are expansive decks on multiple levels of the home as well as a heated pool (for an additional fee) and a private boardwalk to the beach. All areas of the home are easily accessible as an elevator services all the levels. The first floor offers an expansive open and light-filled living area, dining areas, and spacious kitchen all with panoramic ocean views. The kitchen is a gourmet's dream that includes granite counters, 2 stainless steel wall ovens, 2 dishwashers, Viking 5-burner gas cooktop, built-in stainless steel refrigerator, built-in microwave, an ice maker, and a separate wine fridge. The cooktop area is on a separate island and a huge prep island serves as an eat-in area with 6 counter stools. The main living area features 3 comfortable sofas, hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, a huge 75” flat panel smart TV, surround sound, and a spectacular view of the ocean. The dual dining areas feature two large tables, one with 10 chairs and the other with 8 chairs. The large back deck has plenty of rocking chairs and is a favorite spot to enjoy a sunset cocktail! Six guest bedrooms are located on the first floor. Two of these bedrooms feature fantastic ocean views! They both have a King Bed, an additional twin pull-out sleeper each and a private bath with a tiled jetted tub/shower combo. Each has a TV, wood floors, and private access to the first-floor ocean side porch which includes plenty of seating with chairs and rockers. Two more guest bedrooms have a queen bed each, wood floors, and private bathrooms with tiled tub/shower combos. The last two guest bedrooms on this floor have one king bed and one queen bed respectively. The king bedroom includes a double-size sleeper sofa, TVs, wood floors, private baths with tiled tub/shower combos, and private access to the front-facing covered porch. Also on the first floor is a large laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, utility sink, and cabinets as well as a full-size supplemental refrigerator. The second floor adds the convenience and benefit of a second large, separate living area with plenty of sofa and chair seating, a game table with 6 chairs, large 85" flat panel TV, Roku, one double sleeper sofa, and access to 2 balconies. There is also a kitchenette with a granite counter, microwave, and full-size refrigerator/freezer! There are 3 ocean-view bedrooms on this floor including two master suites. Both feature king beds, spectacular ocean views, large flat panel TVs, wood floors, private access to the second-floor ocean-facing porch with a seating group and private bathrooms with corner Jacuzzi jetted tubs and large, tiled walk-in showers! The third ocean view bedroom has a king bed, TV, more of the ocean views you come to expect in this house, private access to the second-floor ocean-facing porch, and a private bathroom with a jetted tub/shower combo. Rounding out the bedrooms is a guest bedroom with a king bed, double sleeper, wood floors, access to a private balcony, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. For your convenience, there is a laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer to service this floor. Enjoy the ease of outdoor entertaining at the poolside with the addition of 2 dining tables as well as multiple lounges and chairs! Loved being on the beach and also having a pool. Our large family had plenty of room to cook in the kitchen and had plenty of places to sit and eat. Everyone loved that we each had our own spaces that included a full bath, and many opened to a balacony. The house was very clean. The rooms seemed even bigger than in the pictures. We loved that there were two large tables so we all could eat comfortably somewhat together.!The only negative was that the beach had washed away in a storm last fall (we discovered this upon arrival). The long dock in the pictures was gone and there was a very tall wall of sand that most of us could not get up or down on. Because we were there off season for just a few days it wasn't that big of a deal, but had we rented the house for a beach week in the summer that is something we really would've wanted to be told about ahead of time. Thankfully we had the pool heated, so everyone spent lots of time enjoying the pool instead! ##### Heather R. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful 10 bedroom was great for our annual family beach trip. Great location. But for the size home and the price would've expected more. For example, only 4 beach chairs for a home that sleeps 28? party. Kitchen was underwhelming and disorganized; impossible to find things and simple tools like bottle openers. cork screws and can openers were either missing or cheap and hard to use. Biggest problem for us was lack of handy cap accessible bathrooms and showers. Of ten bedrooms, only 2 had walk in showers, and even those had no grab bars, etc. and all had old, low toilets. For our group of 15 aged 65-98, this was problematic to say the least. We had a great time at this house and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in. There were 17 of us and we had more than enough room for everyone. The location is great; it is literally on the beach. The waves were not very big while we were there and the inlet being nearby can cause some crazy currents, so we had to watch out for the kids when out in the water. We did have some inconveniences while there. 1\. The WiFi was terrible - Several of us had work commitments during the trip that required internet and it was difficult to say the least. 2\. The cable was out for over 24 hours at one point during the trip - Our resident Atlanta Braves fan missed his team's playoff game! 3\. The 6-burner cooktop in the kitchen was barely functional and really needs servicing or replacement ASAP. 4\. The pop-up vent hood for the cooktop is barely functional and had to be propped up to keep functioning while we were cooking. Same as the cooktop, this appliance is super janky - replace it ASAP. ##### Joel G. Reviewer Comments: The property is at a great location. A short walk to the beach; however, it looked a bit dangerous to swim in but there is a nice pool. The house is huge and can fit large groups the 3 refrigerators came in handy. Kitchen space is ample and there is a second, smaller kitchen upstairs. The audio system should come with instructions. Very close to grocery stores, a butcher and a fish monger; however the prices are very high. One note, it is a shame that house guests don't take better care of the house they are renting. There were many spots on the stone countertop that clearly had a hot pot or pan placed on them. ALso the VRBO and other feed associated with this property were very high. They were as advertised but still high. Also the instructions for taking out the garbage need to be revised. They give two options depending on the location in Isle of Palms. A renter will not know which set to follow. Overall, though, a great house that is very spacious and comfortable. We had a very nice 4 days. ##### Ted P.
