My friend and I decided to come to Charleston to change up our work from home days a little and explore the city in the evenings. This duplex was spacious and had plenty of room for us to both work comfortably. One thing to note about the property is that it’s a two story duplex with the unit we rented being the bottom unit. There is noise from up above when someone is there. The listing mentions duplex but we assumed it was side by side. The property was clean and cozy and equipped with everything you would need. Located just a few blocks from King Street made this home ideal for a quick trip down town, Just to be fully transparent, the home is located in a neighborhood that has some beautiful houses as well as ones that are in terrible condition with some even being boarded up. This seems to be an area going through the revitalization process. The homes in our immediate vacinity were well cared for. We could not have asked for a more beautiful home to stay in for our time in Charleston. It was immaculate and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Stay Duvet was very responsive every time we had a question and they were very helpful when we were seeking recommendations for the area. Please don’t let the comment about the area detour you from this property… I just wanted to make sure you are aware. There were always people out on a jog or walking their dogs and we always felt safe. Also, the local Food Lion was only blocks away making it very convenient for anything we needed.
