The beds we comfortable and the room space was great. The master bedroom on the first floor did not have an attached bathroom but was spacious. It’s and older home that’s been beautiful remodeled to accommodate 3 different units. We were on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Location could not have been better, easy walking to King St where lots of eating and entertainment options are available. The place comes with a parking space. Owner communicated a lot with everything we needed to know to get into the place and even after we checked in to make sure nothing was missing. Spring Street is so charming with lots of great boutiques and coffee shops. There’s a convenience store a block away, which is always nice and just a few blocks from everything on King St. in regards to the house, the bedrooms were great sizes and the beds were super comfortable. The two balconies were perfect and the courtyard was so charming. The place was very clean and walking distance to everything. Smoke detector was hanging from the case in the living room. And someone who claimed to be “completing work” in the house just walked right in, before our check out time, without knocking, otherwise great stay! ##### Maria B. This property was conveniently located a few blocks off King Street. It was a very cute house with all the amenities you would need other than a dishwasher. It is the top 2 floors of a house with a master on the 2nd floor and and two bedrooms with queens on the 3rd floor. Do not rent this unit (B) if you do not do stairs well! It has private off-street parking which was very nice and a small restaurant immediately next door. Because it is in the city, expect city noises (traffic, people, dogs) if you stay here and I'd recommend that you run a fan or something at night to help block them out. The house is nicely furnished and comfortable to relax in with a back and front porch we enjoyed sitting on. We enjoyed the week we spent there. ##### Jennifer E. We knew it would be hot but it was worse than expected. The house is nice the only downfall is that the only AC is the 3 window units in the 3 bedrooms to cool the house. Suite B is on the 2nd and 3rd floor so it is HOT. There are no ceiling fans anywhere in the unit to help move air, I think that would have helped. I recommend the house but don't go in the hot of summer ##### Rachael G. The pros were you were staying in a historic home in Charleston. Beds were comfortable. They had a full size washer/ dryer. Easy walking distance to King street and other restaurants. There is a bakery right beside the house. There was ample parking behind the home. The company renting the unit was very responsive. Cons were the traffic noise at night if you had a front bedroom. The upstairs back bedroom was quiet. Lots of stairs so not good for any handicap issues. The upstairs bathroom had a shower but it was a bit of a joke as any normal size adult would struggle with it. It was fine for children. Our daughter ended up showering downstairs most of the time. There was no dishwasher, but we didn’t use that many dishes. We mainly just ate breakfast there.
