Please note: This property is in a quiet residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down and no parties. Welcome to 1512 Forrest Ave! This 3 BD/2BA home can accommodate up to 6 guests and boasts expansive marsh and river views. Families and groups can revel in both the beachgoing and boating/fishing dock experience and enjoy the best of what Folly has to offer! This home has all the conveniences you will need, including a deep-water dock with attached floating dock that can cater to boats up to 25 feet(Please note guests do have access to the dock but not the lift at the end and we do NOT recommend leaving the boat tied to the dock, as there it little to no water at low tide, and exposed oyster beds around the dock area). There are also a couple of crab traps for your use during your stay. Enjoy the spacious back deck with views of the historic Morris Island Lighthouse and breathtaking sunsets over river! Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island! Footage: 1410 Notes You must be at least 25 Years old to rent this home. Contactless Check-In: This home offers a keyless entry, and we will provide the code before your arrival date. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use. Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am. The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am. No pets allowed. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are not allowed in properties unless specifically designated in writing as “pets considered” and approved by our office. No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house. House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited. The occupancy can be at most 6 people at any time during your stay. We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. The location on Folly cannot be beat - especially with a young kid (the beach) and an avid fisherman (the dock and river behind the house). The heat didn't work while we were there but the property management acted quickly even on a Sunday providing space heaters and sending a repair man. My husband, daughter and I have stayed here two years in a row. We plan to return every year! We love being able to fish, catch crabs, walk to the beach, and enjoy the beautiful view. There was plenty of room, the house was clean, and stocked with everything we needed. The outdoor area was great, and we all enjoyed watching the ebb and flow of the tides affecting the river. It was only about a three minute walk to the beach. I highly recommend this home. ##### Nate S. The views are incredible. The beds were very comfy! Nice clean bedding. Nice clean home! Hoping to make this @ least a once a year occurrence for our little family! Folly Beach had a chill family vibe and we’ll definitely be back next fall. Endless Sunsets is a special place. Its location between the beach and on the marsh provided the best of fishing and relaxing. We caught red drum, flounder, sea trout, sheepshead. Birdwatching was thrilling—eagles, hawk, falcon, shore birds! Close to downtown Charleston to visit city market,, lots of shopping and top restaurants. Magnolia Gardens was beautiful ##### Barbara A. The house has a beautiful dock, spectacular entertaining space on the patio below, and plenty of open space in the common areas indoors. The bathroom showers are teenie tiny, which was our only negative, given that we have some tall men in our group, but definitely not a deal breaker. The street is quiet,sunsets were magical, and an amazing time was had by all. 10/10 would recommend. ##### Lauren R. We enjoyed our stay in Folly Beach - great location with the beach 2 blocks away and dock fishing attached to the property. Fun restaurants nearby and 20 mins from downtown Charleston with so much to do. The management company was amazing to work with - easy communication through text, very responsive and worked to resolve any issues. Overall the house is great with a nice layout and open floorplan. It is a very short walk out to the beach access where there is good surfing at Washout. The house is clean and cozy. Nice big kitchen and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the big back deck overlooking the peaceful marsh and did some crabbing. It was super fun and relaxing! Thank you! Will be back! ##### Kate W. Folly Beach was the perfect pick and the house was perfect. Ocean views and access in the front with river views and access in the rear. We kept our small boat at the dock and enjoyed the river outings. The cooking and seating areas under the house were great. We will be back for another visit. ##### Robert S. But we rented a golf cart and that worked out great. Very quiet neighborhood. Loved the dock even tho fishing was not as good as i expected, caught lots of eels and sting rays, not much else. Not the property owners fault tho, lol. Communication with the property owner was amazing. When we got there, the door code wouldn't work. I called the number they provided me, and even on a holiday weekend, the phone was answered and a backup code was provided. House was clean and decorated cute. We had THE BEST time ever at this awesome house. The house is clean and in truly great shape. The services behind my ocean rental made our week at the beach wash by providing cleaning and upkeep. The beds and rooms were spacious and comfortable. The dock, sunsets, outdoor areas were all perfect!!! We cannot wait to come back again. Response from MyOceanRental: Thank you for your review.
